2025-09-24 14:41:11 +0000 UTCThis is just headcanon, but I think it makes sense. Usopp didn't set out to become a sniper. He set out to become a brave warrior of the sea. Sending him to a dangerous island where he has to rely more on himself instead of his friends is something he needs for that goal. On an island with giants he probably would have made friends and again relied on them. This island is more 'survival of the fittest' than we've seen elsewhere.
