But I honestly think Aisha doesn’t understand Norn isn’t at her level and see her as lazy or spoiled especially after hearing Zenith’s mother tell her she’s lesser in the family. Norn has always been a frail child. Not comfortable. Around others, especially those unfamiliar to her, we saw this when she was three and hid behind Zeneth when Sylphie came over before the incident so was fearful while Aisha even then ran to hug her. Norm is a stubborn kid (probably being single-handedly raised by Paul) so Rudy letting her stay at the dorms was good idea. Plus his 10 day rule isn’t just fair it’s Fairly fair. It’s for her to slowly get used to coming to the family house. And let’s be honest it’s not a coincidence Rudy keeps seeing her at school in primary grade buildings, he’s checking up on her everyday, I bet Sylphie is too but more Fitz from a far way. Lastly before moving away from the girls Norn might also have separation anxiety, she lost her mom at three, now she has to leave her dad who she’s been by his side for 6 years, then got close to Ruijard and then he left. I’m not a therapist, but that’s just my observation. I personally like to think I know how to breakdown characters at this point so I’m confident in this anodization. I honestly think Ariel is super jelly of Rudy and was hoping this underwear debacle could be the excuse to take Sylphie back. She felt like she enjoyed grilling him. And finally to end my not read ramble. Rudy scolding the best girls just reminded us all that Rudues Grayrat truly is the big kettle master on campus. FINALLY Shutting up now.

If she had gone to school to build different relationship, learn empathy and perhaps realize her own fraud, weakness and mis-position she put herself in the family, the incident 12 years later wouldn't have happened. Things would've gone so much smoother. There is one thing that I think most people don't understand especially Asian as I am one. Schools aren't only for you to gain knowledge but a place to build relationship and become socialized. If knowledge is the only thing I seek, I could've just read the books. School is a place where you gain different life experience. Rudeus had already learnt every advance class magic himself and his knowledge from past life allows him to create new magic but he still goes to school. Why? Because if he doesn't, he wouldn't have reunited with Sythie and met Zenoba and Cliff and the beast girls. These are connection that help him a lot in the future. Many other animes make the protagonist make friends in battlefield while mushoku make Rudeus make friends in school, shows that how school is important to teenagers and relationships are accumulated in daily life, friendships on battlefield are just BS. Trust are built through long time relationships.

The two would get into a conversation about siblings and it would reveal she has a brother. She also makes a weird comment about Rudy's appearance, the "objectively handsome man" and "European model." I laughed reading that. I think that's how it went down.

After hearing everything, including the letter she left behind, Rujird told Rudues that Eris couldn't possibly hate him and that she most likely left to get stronger. He encouraged Rudues to forgive her and talk things out when they eventually reunite. Rudeus had mixed feelings about this new perspective because a part of him feels it's too late and another part of him feels he messed up big time. He really didn't know what to say to Eris if they were to meet again. (Side Note) Rujird was a little bothered to see Rudues had married Slyphy, he didn't make it obvious though.

That's why Norn made a comment about Sylphie not being the same girl since Zenith raised her following that religion like her mom did with her. Is also shown when Aisha say that Zenith mother(they met while Rudy was teaching Eris) told her she is the daughter of a concubine, she cant stand the fact that Paul took a second wife cause to her its unacceptable . But that religion is mostly followed by people raised in the Millis country like Cliff and the Zenith Family for most of the world outside of that is normal to have concubines or multiple wives(we saw Sylphie saying that she is ok with Rudy having a concubine in case she cant get pregnant and he really wanted a baby, but he turn that down instantly)

2025-07-27 18:49:38 +0000 UTCThe anime has not gone to lengths to explain the Milis religion as of yet, but they've definitely shown instances here and there through Zenith and Cliff, I believe it was directly referenced in the Eris OVA, some aspects of what it means to be a follower of Milis. That's why Zenith took it hard when Paul cheated on her, and they've made it a point to show how Cliff is super devout to Elinalise despite her curse/lifestyle. Like Zenith and Cliff, it is implied at this point that Norn is a follower of Milis, so she believes Rudy should only have been with one person, but on the flipside, it's also implied at this point that not everyone in this world is a follower of Milis, hence being with only one partner is not necessarily the social norm.
