I also love that despite Bakugo still refers to Jiro as "Ears" despite always learning from her, even though he starts using the names for others. As a result, my one and only crackship is "Death Metal" and their J-Pop idol daughter Ai "Firecracker" Bakugo. The idea just tickles me. π€£π€£

Bakugo's sheer drive to win and power is contagious to the people around him and makes him an effective leader (perhaps his domineering attitude kind of helps as well xD). This was shown in the sports festival and license exam. As with Haikyuu, I really like how you guys notice the character developments in shows. Always appreciate it when people pay attention to the efforts of the writers/authors.

2025-03-05 22:54:53 +0000 UTCAlso I like to mention. Unlike Mineta, even if you dont like him, Monoma is actually respectable even if he act villainous. Since USJ, everyone did not give 2 shit about class B and only A in sport festival and after it, he def knows A is better. Instead of despairing, he actually tries to improves his class through strategy. This season it shows that he inspires them since his whole class is based around strategy and teamwork. Tho his method is questionable, I personally dont think you need his match to respect him. And his personality is very needed in this society. Instead of resting on his laurels, he is getting his class to be competitive. Imo you dont want a new batches of heroes who is happy to be 2nd place, you want them to be aspiring to be the best. Imagine we got a whole new batches of Mineta who all just wanted to be hero to get girls. Yeah no, Monoma is a necesary evil!!!

Absolutely love his character growth, he's up there with Endeavor and Shoto as some of the top best written characters in the whole show. So glad 1-A redeemed themselves and who'd a thought that Bakugo of all people would have led them to it LMAO. I enjoyed your hype to this episode so much!! xDD Can't wait for ep 10. A very plot-pivotal episode, plus it has one of my favourite build-up OSTs this season!
