Release Date Announcement

Dev Update

Hey everyone wanted to let you know how development is going.

I've been working on the final dungeon, the final boss and the ending of the game and at this point everything is playable and the game can be "beaten" but everything need to be fleshed out a lot more. Art and animation remain the largest tasks but playtesting and polish will take a lot of time as well. I'll post a link to my current task list.

Build 0.3.26 (Mostly Bug Fixes)

I haven't been able to follow the schedule exactly as planned but I wanted to continue releasing bug fixes when I can. This is primarily for new players or people who encounter game breaking bugs.

I've decided to release an early update with all the accumulated bug fixes, UI/UX polishes and gameplay mechanics that I've been working on since August.

Progress Update - November 2024

For the month of November I've been working on new monsters, side quests, new skills, status effects and additional ways of unlocking skills.

I've also added new status icons to display the active effects for each character in battle as well as other minor UI improvements.

Progress Update - October 2024

I'm mostly working on new monsters and designs for the final dungeon and final boss. The later I will attempt to keep under wraps until the final game is released.

The goal is to add 4 or 5 more full monsters. Some will be added to existing areas to diversify the encounters as well as some that can be unique to the final dungeon.

I'll also be continually bug fixing and polishing battle mechanics, UI and dialogue throughout the game.

Known Issues with the dungeon

In the second half of the new area, its possible to get stuck depending on the variations of branching paths.

I have been working on it and will release an update when the most serious bugs are fixed.

In the meantime, you should still be able to get dragonform from the kobolds (blue lizards) and then in the second half, surrender to hoplites, they will take you to the dungeon and then the dragon boss fight. It's not currently repeatable and bugs will arise if you try, so hold off ...

Battle UI overhaul, a new command menu, command tool tips, improved turn display at the top of the screen, better input and target selection, updated graphics, new damage numbers and health bars.

July/August Dev Report

Chapter 3 Progress (May-June)

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. June really slipped past me.

Chapter 3 is still progressing along with many pieces being in a partially complete state. At this time I'm still uncertain whether I'll release chapter 3 in smaller polished pieces or try to release all or most of the story at once in a rough state and then polish it after. The latter may be better for development progress.

Build 0.2.9.4 Battle tweaks and polish

Mostly balancing in the early game and overall battle polish. As long as there are no major game breaking bugs discovered then new updates will slow down again as I return to working on chapter three content.

Known saving issue (0.2.9.1)

If you enter a zone and then save and quit without activating the save crystal then it will have an incorrect value which can cause you to skip ahead or fail to load the save files.

Quitting after entering the town from aqueducts or goblin encampment is very likely to break the load menu.
