Hey Mirco. it's a sync up vid. Carlie and Ange still need to be wary of copyright. They do a full uncut video that you sync up to with the timestamp of the anime episode.

Whenever you have people come into one piece and they want to catch up to the anime as quickly as possible they look to see where they can cut corners. Skypiea is technically self-contained so it can be skipped but you lose all the character moments and any bigger implications the arc might have on the story. I actually love re-watching this arc, there's so much heart and fun. The story is also so sad but beautiful.

2024-12-26 02:38:11 +0000 UTCJust a little reminder that the next Arc after Skypiea is a Filler Arc, however you shouldn't skip it as it's highly praised as being one of the best fillers in all of anime. It's also just a really enjoyable arc that I believe you'll have a blast watching.

Believe it or not, Luffy is the one that will leave more broken hearts behind him among the straw hats. And that’s all I’ll say about it. And Oda confirmed there’ll never be romance among the straw hats, only family love.

2024-12-25 22:09:52 +0000 UTCOne big difference with the snake is, that it has been in the sky for a while now and everything on the sky island is stronger than on the ground, for example the trees or the south birds. The snake getting killed so easily could also be to show the difference in strength between Kalgara/Noland and people of the current time Zoro/Viper etc. For example n ep. 187 Noland jumps into the sea to kill a sea king and doesn't even break a sweat, while Zoro in an earlier Skypiea episode did struggle a bit to kill a much smaller sky shark. Oh and the feeling of frustration due to the story not really progressing despite having watched multiple episodes will probably overcome you a lot of times. I hope they re-edit more and more arcs to make it a less frustrating experience. They are currently doing a pretty good job re-editing one of the more drawn out arcs!
