I'm almost a year late to this watchalong but Eralia is watching the Extended Version of "Black Hawk Down", which is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, at 2 hours 31 minutes running time. This longer version is not included on my Blu-ray disc of the the film. Not told in Mark Bowden's book upon which this film is based is that there were two elite snipers from SEAL Team Six (DEVGRU) providing oversight and security before the mission to extract high value targets began. The SEAL Team Six operators became involved in the battle along with the Army Rangers and Delta Force operators. This may be Eralia's first Ridley Scott-directed film but hopefully she will watch and react to more of his work in the future.
