Our landlord recently got a new rescue dog. Her name is marigold and she’s the cutest chihuahua/pug mix. I’m happy Theo has a new buddy. We see her almost everyday for morning play dates. She’s a little crazy for theo sometimes though since she’s still a puppy lol

Last night I was with my friends and we were talking ab our MBTI personality tests. I retook the test for the first time in years, and I got something I’ve never seen before. It’s interesting to see how I get different results as I’m getting older. From 16-18 I got ENFP, 19-21 INFP, and now I got ISTP.

Photoshop Illustrations for a Potential Garden Design

I mentioned this in my podcast, but if you don't know, I'm working with a local landscape design group called Hardy Californians to redo my garden in the front. They only work with native plants, and I like their message and what they do as a company.

To be honest... the illustrations aren't thaaat good, but it gives a decent idea of what the finished product could look like. They're helping with plant selection, design, layout, plant sourcing, and sourcing materials.

Yesterday

I’m in Kyoto!!!

Yesterday was such a long day. A 12 hour flight then another 7 hours of transportation from the Tokyo airport to Kyoto. I think it took longer than it should’ve lol but we were figuring out how the transportation works. It’s around 5 am here and I just walked to a vending machine to get some coffee.

It’s not too hot yet, but it’s still the early morning so we’ll see. I went to Vietnam/Thailand around the same time a while ago so the heat/humidity doesn’t bother me...

The Curtains Are Up!!!

We put the curtains up yesterday. It's unfortunate to block such a large portion of the window, but it's soooo nice to have privacy at night and not feel like we're being watched. It also helps filter the direct sun during the hot hours.

June moments

Chris had his family over this past week and we had so much fun doing touristy stuff. Even though Chris and I have lived in LA for 2 yrs, we never really got around to doing tourist activities. We went to theme parks and did a tour of the Warner brothers studio.

My first Coachella experience!

I went to Coachella last weekend!! I had a great time. I went for Gorillaz, Willow, Ethel Cain, Charli XCX, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean (😭). Frank Ocean dropped out of weekend 2 but it was still a ton of fun.

I got clothes/accessories from my friends Tyler and Charlie haha bc I didn’t have much to wear for a festival
