Some solutions for Android problems: Thanks to Souler12
ANDROID 1:
Backup your save files, theycould be here: android/data/<promise save file folder> or here: SD:/Android/data/com.{gamename}.program/files/saves/.
For Samsung you can use this:
1) Connect HP to PC
2) Find under Android/data/tp.ea
3) Save "tp.ea" folder into PC
4) Unplug HP, uninstall old game and install the new game (0.61)
5) Create a new save file
6) Connect HP to PC and find "tp.ea" as per step (2)
7) Delete/Replace "tp.ea" folder with the old one as per step (3)
ANDROID 2:
1) Go to settings>app>google play store>disable app.
2) Install game.
3) (Optional) Enable back Google play store
The culprit is play protect from playstore, need to disable before installing game. Enjoy!

Agreed. All of the 'good stuff' appears to be held off for part 2 - not sure I will wait the years for this part to finish and that part to start. Dev should cancel additional parts and finish everything in this game. Then do something completely new with the next.
