2024-12-15 16:35:24 +0000 UTCI recognize a few voices in this one- a few that were in the My Hero dub- Dobu has Endeavor’s VA, the viral guy saying he’ll catch Dobu has Hawks’ VA (appropriate lol), Odekawa (the MC) has Ojiro’s (the tail guy- I think you always said it looked like a penis lol)- and looking it up, there were some that I didn’t realize I had heard before- like Mirko’s VA (the rabbit hero) I think voices the masked girl of the girl group that wasn’t the one who catfished Kakihana- and wouldn’t you know, Nikaido (the main unmasked singer in the girl group) is voiced by Amanda Lee- aka the voice of Hayasaka, Kaguya’s maid in Love is War

2024-12-14 19:41:24 +0000 UTCA badger game is a scam where you trick someone into comitting an act you can blackmail them for e.g. trick a guy into cheating on his wife then blackmail him about it. I'm unsure how the example in this show is a badger game, since he doesn't seem to do anything he could be blackmailed for. It seems more like they just lured him to a secure place to rob him xD Wikipedia says they were more common in the US in the past when attitudes to adultery were stricter (one of the founders apparently fell for one!) but that as attitudes towards adultery became less strict they dropped off. Badger games come up a surprising amount in anime so I suspect they're more common in Japan, where adultery is still seen as a serious issue (you can still get in legal trouble for adultery in Japan) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badger_game
