2024-12-07 12:35:09 +0000 UTCI noticed that the names of this new student introduced here and his curse are the same names as the main 2 characters in Love Chinibyo- I wonder if it inspired the names, or if it’s just coincidence or the names Yuuta and Rika are just very common in Japanese- this student is still around in current time, but I believe he was away on a special mission or something for the duration of the events of season 1 (I’m pretty sure this is who Panda thought about during his fight/conversation with Mechamaru during the exchange event, that you thought was that other kid that Yuji spent time with who died- and also the one that Todo was insisting should be at the exchange event, but the first years were “substitutes” for him since he couldn’t be there lol)

2024-12-07 01:48:33 +0000 UTCMaki doesn’t like people to address her by her last name because she hates how she was treated by her clan/family, the Zenin clan (the same one that Megumi Fushiguro, whose father we just met in the previous episodes, is actually part of as well- his father’s last name was originally Zenin, but he took Megumi’s mother’s name, forsaking/rebelling against that same clan/family)
