Happy birthday to me

January 12th was my birthday, and the best way to celebrate is by drawing something for myself.

This piece was inspired by one I drew 13 years ago... quite a while ago, and I think you can see the improvement in the quality of my drawings.

I'd say this is the first time I've done a human x furry drawing (I've done others on commission), but this is the first one I've done just for myself... because I wanted to.

I'm sorry if I haven't been very active, and I know I owe a lot of drawings... I've just been a bit down and haven't felt like drawing, I didn't feel like doing anything... my mind was wandering, and for some reason I was discouraged, but I'm back.

This week I'll be working hard on the YCHs I have in the queue. I still have a multi-character cruising-themed piece to finish, so expect progress on that drawing soon.

But back to the topic of this piece, I love drawing characters with white fur; they're some of my favorites. White gives me the opportunity to play with color nuances because it's a canvas that allows me to let my imagination run wild with the interplay of light and shadow.

I've been wanting to draw this character for years, so now I was finally able to fulfill that wish... I really made a big connection with the owner of this character, I think we've become very good friends!

YCH TAKE NOW "Pride Puerto Vallarta 2025"

Pride month is about to begin! That's why it's essential to have a new piece of art ready to fill us with joy and a sense of belonging.

I decided to focus on Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; it's a friendly place for the LGBTQ+ community and a beautiful tourist center... I've been there a couple of times, and the beaches, the atmosphere, and the people are amazing!

I think I took too long to make this YCH, maybe because there were so many characters! But I like paying attention to detail.

This idea came from my friend the blue fox Jaster, and it was very nice to see that the people who decided to purchase a slot are also friends of mine.

I think it's a given that every summer, I have to do at least one beach-themed drawing.

I was actually working on my friend Jude's reference sheet (a very cute bunny) when he decided to buy this pose I was offering... so basically, this is the first official commission where he debuts his fursona.

Oh btw... the buyer wanted his character to be based on Judy Hopps (from Zootopia) so I don't want any controversy about "tracing" or "copying" I don't need those things for myself, just positive vibes.

I almost died in the process of making the background for this drawing, there are too many details! But I did it in the end.

New commission finished!

This is my first time drawing a car, so I'm really nervous... Did I do it right? Although, to be honest, I used several references from real cars to make this one.

I like that the "clean" version reminds me of some TV commercials or music videos from the 2000s.

This is the first YCH of this year, it took me quite a while to work on the background, but I really liked the result.

Also, I'm happy that it's a lion who took this piece... did I ever tell you that lions are my favorites? LOL xD
