I believe the complaints I’ve heard about season 5 are mostly about the chronology- like here in episode 20 we’re finally getting the “2 months ago” and starting to see what actually happened at Deika City which has been referenced all season- and we’ve seen some hints at the outcome with seeing league members working with the paranormal liberation in scenes with Hawks trying to infiltrate and get more info- I’m thinking they did it this way because they thought it was the best storyline to end the season and lead into the next
