I agree with you about the fights, I definitely enjoy them more when they’re character driven- I think most of the fights in this series have been that way- the sports fest (Midoriya versus Icyhot especially), Hero killer, All Might versus All for One, and Bakugo versus Midoriya (which the underlying reason of his guilt over All Might was the bigger factor than any beef he had with Midoriya imo)

2024-02-19 23:17:24 +0000 UTCYeah, the villain in the flashback was asking for directions to a particular hero agency- it’s easy to miss because her voice is pretty high pitched and it wasn’t too important, but Ashido/acid girl when she collapsed after the villain went away said to her friends that she gave him directions to the police station instead, so they need to leave lol- it is interesting that we got 2 character backstories in one, but Kirishima was definitely the larger focus
