so it's clear to me that Robert Pattinson is going crazy with the repetitive scenes being to drill into your head the monotony can make you go nuts and Willem Dafoe is a shitty boss whose used to the loneliness of the lighthouse. It shouldn't really be a surprise that he recommends that Pattinson isn't paid because he complains about the quality of his work throughout the entire first half of this movie. This movie reminds me of the exchange in the first episode of True Detective because I was interested in this movie and then the last half hour had me pleading for the movie to finish already like with Rust being asked about his view of the world. "Hey, you asked." "yeah and now I'm BEGGING for you to shut the fuck up." P.s. the writer has clearly never heard the ultimatum about fucking a mermaid because your essentially just sticking your dick in a fish.
