What's interesting about that is we know they know about the streaming model. So I think its entirely to a narrative purpose. And I think that purpose was to specifically put us into different characters heads. First Denji and then eyepatch girl. I don't think it was to recap

But if they're animating a whole new perspective, that can't be the case. I wonder why they include these recaps - is it just for the people watching week to week?
