2023-04-28 16:31:32 +0000 UTCMy thought process at the time and others shared it with me is that the little girl in New Mexico in 1956 is Sarah Palmer, Laura Palmer's mother. She's like 14 years old in this scene, 30 years older than Laura. That totally works.

2023-04-27 15:54:32 +0000 UTCI think the space where the Giant is is the "White Lodge". It was discussed a little bit in Season 2 and FWWM. I think White Lodge was associated with good and Black Lodge with evil.
