2022-05-18 15:33:08 +0000 UTCThanks for explaining your view on Ed and Winry- I understand where you’re coming from, I guess I don’t really care as much about realism in that particular aspect in this show. Of course realistically childhood friends are likely not going to end up together- at least not without both shown having/exploring other options- I mean, maybe Ed and Al were the only kids she knew in Resembool, and likewise for them with her, but the boys certainly travel around enough to have met all sorts of people, and now Winry is living and working in Rush Valley which seems to have plenty of residents and likely lots of people passing through. But for me, as long as it’s written well- they seem compatible, and shown supporting each other in huge moments for each of them- and I don’t really care too much for be couples/potential couples to be shown with “in your face” lusting after each other- there has to be more than that to it for me. But if it were realistic, these characters are teenagers, so most likely there would be more of that than what is shown here lol
