Thank you for sharing this. It is a bit tragic, indeed. Dari escaped death a million times. But when Janna is set on killing you, no amount of luck, skill or even divine intervention is ultimately going to save you. Story-wise, I couldn't let it go on like that. She was a super powerful action hero who didn't really make much sense outside of action scenes. It got a bit old. I think I felt stronger about Rondria (Furio's acolyte and lover). At the time, I was writing without a specific plan and was reading the story for the first time as it appeared on the screen, just going logically from point to point. In the situation, I was like, 'No, wait, shit, she's dead!' That hit me pretty hard, too. I haven't sufficiently explained the whole magic-going-away thing. There is a scene where the girls, Furio and Dari basically piece it together, but I think it's still too cryptic. I'll look at that again. Thanks again for your brilliant review! I am really, really, really, really glad you liked the red curse arc because I've been wrestling with that for such a long time.

One more thing top 4 saddest moments for me, thought you'd like lol: 4. Nagash's death - seemed she was growing as a character and liked her bond with Dari 3. Furio's lover's death - can't remember her name now but seemed to be the one happy thing to happen for Furio under Janna's care 2. Furio's sacrifice/ losing his magic in thorwall. Seems he's got it back now but was a big moment and felt like it might be the end for Furio at the time. 1. Dari's death. Seems so cruel for it to happen to her now shes been there since the beginning and has been through the worst of it, grown as a person and learned magic and died because Janna, who's usually the more nice and fair of the 2 didn't like her. This one's fresh but so tragic. There were many other moments but these stick out the most in my memory. For the record its these moments that do make the story so unique and effecting, but its gonna take me a bit to get over what happened to Dari 😥

Was waiting for this update for a long time and it was worth the wait! This story remains very well thought out both with the world building and characters. The whole red curse arc was excellent. Dari's fate was heartbreaking. Just when i was starting to invest in Janna as a character again who could be fair and just she has to go and kill poor Dari who had gone through so much and grown as a person and learned magic. That was fucked up and cruel for Janna to do and the way it was drawn out gave me some hope she wouldn't but she did. There is still Furio who's story you've reinvigorated but now im fearfull Laura might find out he's alive first and crunch him before Janna knows. As its a giantess story I'll stay with Janna and Laura but what they've done to so many likeable interesting people makes me have to stop and feel sad every once in a while. Well done overall!
