good news! progress has been kept up!

at this point, the script for 'nothing for nothing' episode 1 is pretty much 100% complete and just needs an extra gloss-over which i'm doing while i make an extremely rough animatic for it! the script for episode 2 is very near completion as well! the reason i'm able to get these done so fast is that the general outline of each episode has been created and refined over the course of the past nearly 2 years now, so it's just been a matter of actually writing down the dialogue and the specific shots/actions to fill in the blank spaces!

my current plan is to make a really rough animatic for each episode with really rough voice acting as soon as the script for the episode is done, that way i can have something watchable to give to friends and such for review! i likely won't be posting the full animatics here, especially for episode 2 and onwards for the sake of spoiler prevention and other reasons like "leaks", but rest assured you'll see all of the final animation as it's made like usual whenever it comes time to make it!

i was worried how capable i'd be of making the animatics in my current state, but given how rough they are i've been able to manage alright, so things are looking up finally! just a final reminder since i imagine there could be a bit of confusion with how much i've jumped around with 'nothing for nothing', but what i'm working on now is the iteration that canonically takes place 100 years in the future. this is the one with daisy, maddie, and emmy, NOT the two bunnies!! so this is the one i've been working on as my main thing since may 2023! scary to think it's almost been 2 years since this iteration was conceptualized, but i'm still determined to finish it..
