Madoka completely changed my life utterly (I met my wife because of Madoka!)... it's hard to even describe how much my life changed after I saw it. So today, on her birthday, I thought I'd do some devotion to her holiness
this was a redraw of the very first drawing I did of Madoka from 11 years ago, in 2014. I matched the black and white of the original, though PMMM's colors left an indelible mark on how I color, as well. I didn't have screentones back in 2014 though, which is a nice addition to have.

Considering I found you in the first place thanks to Madoka, I'd say we have something in common ^_^ While I didn't do something as special as meet a spouse thanks to Madoka, it's still my favorite show I watched that decade. On my own personal and artistic note, thanks to it back when I watched it, I wrote what was at the time the longest story I'd ever written, and while I often look at my past works with a more critical, if sometimes unkind, eye even when they were milestones for me, I still consider that story to be one of my all-time best works. And...it gave me one of my all-time OTPs. You can guess who ^_^ I'm glad it had such a positive impact on you, too, both artistically and personally.
