Hi everyone!

Thanks for following along with Magical Girl Ghostslayer. I hope you enjoyed the end of Book 1, and I'm very grateful for all your support so far.

Unfortunately, I've been in a bit of a writing slump lately. I've been feeling a little burnt out after writing Fearshaper 1 + 2 and Ghostslayer this year, and another contributing factor was learning to deal with the criticism that comes from writing a story which blends magic and science together. I've found myself second-guessing plot points and worldbuilding ideas, which dramatically slowed down my writing pace.

BUT that's for me to deal with and just something that comes with putting your work out there in public as a newbie author. Besides, you've been my closest supporters and have been very kind and encouraging with your comments, which I've been incredibly grateful for!

I'll be taking a break to recover, but I don't know precisely when I'll be back to continue the series. Feel free to remain as a free member if you'd like to be notified when chapters for book 2 start posting. I'm very sorry to those of you looking forward to jumping straight into book 2, it might take a little longer before it's released. Still, I have some cool ideas for what's to come (Exploring Mythic Veilsurges, haunted megabuildings and artefacts mwahaha).
