Update 2/26/22, Part 1: New Enemies 1

Hey! Sorry, I ended up missing last week's update, family visited, throwing off my schedule.

First, some of the new enemies! The originals from v0.1 were done in a real basic MS Paint style, partly because of "pixels=indie game" logic and partly because I had no idea what I was doing. Now that I DO know what I'm doing, kinda, I'm replacing the old art with newer, slightly better stuff.

This is the Skinny Neighbor, serving as the replacement for the default Skinny Woman enemy in the Apartments and City maps. She's real cute! Naturally, this design won't stay skinny for too long. This variant of Neighbor enemy will be a basic enemy, no resistances or weaknesses, just hit 'em with whatever.

This, meanwhile, is the Busty Neighbor-- she'll have the same stat spread as the Skinny Neighbor/larger variants, but as her name suggests, she's Busty, meaning she's weak to Butt-element attacks.

Rounding out (pun intended? Not intended?) this set of enemies is the Random Dude. These enemies are the first three the player will meet, in the Apartment, so they're themed after, well, similarly-aged people who might live nearby.  Male enemies won't receive fatter versions, so they'll reach a stat plateau around mid-game. They'll be immune to a certain type of status condition, ____ Envy, where "____" refers to one of the three elements. The Envies amplify damage taken by a certain element, and can be passively applied when hit by an attack of said element... E.g., getting hit by the skill Gutslam might apply Belly Envy to an enemy, which would make subsequent Belly attacks do more damage. Envies do not stack with each other, although they do stack with element weakness.

...Anyway, the idea behind the Envies was basically just the classic "woman X is jealous of woman Y's boobs," made into a gameplay mechanic. And, well... That's not to say the same couldn't neccessarily apply to men, either, but not the skinny normy dudes. Maybe I'll design a fat guy enemy later down the line.

...Additionally, the same logic above re: male immunity to Envy, also applies to Jeff, who is DEFINITELY a vanilla schlub who'd rather not be surrounded by fat women, the ingrate.

The Housewife was in the last version, but now she'll be integrated earlier, as will her immediate upgrade:

Ideally, I'd like Phase 1 to have up to SSBBW-sized enemies, and escalate from there, but for content pacing, there'll still be skinny/realistic-sized people in Phase 2 and probably 3.

In the city, there will also be... *drum rolls*

...COPS!

This is Female Cop, whose name inherently implies the existence of Male Cop:

Cops will have a revised GUN skill, from the Mobsters. They'll also have Shoot First, a high-priority skill (think quick attack from pokemon) and Shoot to Disarm, which might instantly kill/KO the target.  Just like in real life!

Female Cop's first size upgrade can also be encountered in Phase 1, the Fatass Female Cop...

...She's been hitting the donuts, huh. Or something else...

She'll be the strongest regular enemy in Phase 1. You probably won't be able to take her without some help!

Thanks! She's a real cutie, haha. And it's silly, but 'finalizing' the combat design doc, or at least reworking it to its current state, really helped me figure out what I want out of enemies conceptually.

Ooo, love the new enemies! My fav is the Skinny Neighbor... almost want to recruit her! :3 You've put a lot of thought into making these vore enemies have stats that make a lot of sense, actually. I'm impressed, can't wait to try things out!
