Spirit Healer
Added 2021-02-08 01:18:30 +0000 UTCI'm not sure what to call her. My idea for her was inspired from Japanese shrine maiden, tribal healer, spirit medium, and ancient Chinese physician. Her outfit design is inspired from many traditional clothes of the silk road.
SO! on to the navel stuff! She heals people by absorbing negative energy from her patients and purify it within her body. The method of energy absorbing is by having her patient stick their tongue into her navel, and then she performs a ritual that's supposed to assist with the energy absorption. During this process, aside from the patient, only the healer and her disciples are allowed to be in the chamber.
Only the chosen few within the tribe have this skill, and they're revered not only within the tribe, but almost the whole world. Many traveled far to meet her, bringing gifts and riches in exchange for her treatment. Her treatment not only heal, but also improve one's overall physical constitution. One will be healthier and be better looking. The theory is that once the negative energy is expelled from your body, it will allow your body to heal and rebuild itself. Basically you'll be able to be the best version of yourself physically.
Not everyone who seek her would get treated by her. Most would get treated by her disciples. Only those with most severe or complicated conditions would get her aid. It is also why she see less patients than the disciples, since purifying the negative energy would take a toll on her body and it requires time to recover. The worse the condition, the longer it would take.
