First Update on my new Skyrim-Setup

It's time for a first look into my new Skyrim Setup!

Performance

During June, I was very busy re-installing both my PC, and therefore my Skyrim. I've wiped down my entire hard disks and was able to get rid of all the minor (ang major!) lags, crashes and issues that piled up over the last years. So the most imported thing is: Everything runs now smooth as possible. Both the PC and my Skyrim. Besides some very rare, weird and random crashes, the game goes fine. Fine as a 400+ Mod Load order for a 13-Year-old game can be, I guess. FPS is mostly stable at around 30 Frames, with some few exceptions. So, all in all, I'm happy with it.

Graphics

So let's talk about the first thing you probably noticed when looking at the pictures: The Graphics. Yes, the new Setup looks very different from the old one. But that's exactly what I was going for. The colors are less saturated, everything is a bid more lush, and most importantly: more detailed. But the biggest changes are in the light-sector. The new Version runs on LUX, a very popular Light-mod that introduces way more realistic lighting. Specially, indoor scenes look super fancy with it! The reason I'm not showing this here in the first showcase are some artistic problem I have for now. Because when making pictures, everything gets very dark, and so you wouldn't see much of the girl's valuable assets. I'm still working on a workaround, thou.

The only thing that makes me a bid sad is that I had to scrap my plans to implement a lot of parralax Textures because they eat way too much FPS. Some important ones, like the new snow, are still in it, but most of the game runs now on upscaled/remastered textures.

Content

The new Setup comes with over 15,000 (Yes, fifteen thousand) new Animations, basically overhauling every single Animation in the game. From the girl's Idles, their walking, Combat and spell casting. I also installed "OStim" and I'm planning to use it. So you can expect some more 'explicit' content in the (far) future!

In terms of armors and clothing for the girls, I would love to pose how much I have but.... well, I lost track how many are there, actually. Probably I have more than hundreds of Outfits installed, ready to be shown on those giant bodies! But I stayed with my favorites/classics in this showcase to not spoil anything.

Summary

Considering the fact I'm not even done with everything, I'm very happy with the new Setup! But please keep in mind that all of this is still a work in progress. Even when it comes very close to that, what I'm going for.

The new Version also showed me how outdated my old Load-Order was, and I'm super excited to finally move on! I very hope you guys like the new approach as much as I do! And in case the pictures haven't convinced you yet: I will make some Showcase Videos over the course of the next weeks. Then you can see this baby in action!
