Update on Space + Other Transits :)

Just wanted to give a quick update, as well as thanks to those who sent some vibes my way regarding the space. I was able to check it out today and meet with the owner of the studio.
I haven't signed the paperwork yet but we are in agreement that I will be able to start leasing in Sept :) The room is really lovely and the overall energy of the place is really fab. They even have space for IRL classes down the road.
It is a shared space so I won't have it all to myself, it works off a scheduling system, but I don't think that will be an issue as I only need a couple days a week to get in there.
It is def going to be a huge change for me and an adjustment period is inevitable; I'm just thrilled to have a space without massive trucks and loud engines. I know it is not too much of an issue for some of you (and I deeply appreciate that), but it really distracts me as I have to pause what I'm doing in the moment, plus I have to edit out all the sounds that are too aggressive, which makes editing harder and take longer.
So after a few awkward videos that I'l have to film in my bedroom for Aug, Sept will start the new phase.
Speaking of new phases, lol, the candles are also in a transitional phase now. I've converted the room I was filming in to a candle crafting room. (Plus storage of video equipment and mailing supplies.) The only issue is I have one very heavy piece of furniture I need to move into that room for me to be fully set up. It's a credenza that is so heavy I can barely move it and inch on my own. I called some moving companies but the quote was wildly high for 1 piece of furniture. (Because of a 2-3 hour minimum labor charge even tho it would probably take less than 20 mins.) I just couldn't rationalize the expense, especially now with the new investment of renting the space.
My friend is coming next week to help me move it so by then I will be all set up. (I didn't want to wait so I ordered a folding table, but even that might not arrive till next week.) I have the vessels all ready to go, but without the flat surface for them to cure on I feel I'm playing with fire (excuse the pun) and asking for issues with the curing process. Those of you who make candles will know what I mean when I say they are so temperamental when setting. And because I'm making 90 of them at once, I'd prefer to err on the side of caution and wait till the room is set up for the process.
So instead of getting them done this week they will be poured next week. Still plenty of time to ship within the month, just a little later than I had planned.
Thank you all so much for your patience with me, always but especially this summer. I feel like internally and externally I've been processing so much and trying to make changes but changes kinda trip you up a bit, even if they help things work out more smoothly in the long term.
Just a reminder on the candles. If you paid in July for candle tier you will be getting one this month, which is the Virgo inspired batch. If you paid in August you'll be getting one in September which will be the Libra inspired batch. They are always sent out for the month paid previously as that is the only way I can get a complete count for how many to make in the batch. :)
Sending you so much love and thanks and appreciation.
Wishing you only the very best. XOXOXO
