New Demo - 9/28/19

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a nice weekend. I'm really happy to say that the new video is doing extremely well! It started off slow with some really bad numbers, but then took off out of nowhere! It looks like it will be one of my fastest videos to ever hit a million views (hopefully by the end of the day!). And while the views are great, there was one thing that stood out even more: a comment from Mike Diva. If you are unaware, Mike Diva is a YouTuber who also happened to direct the official music video for "Panini". To hear his praise for my recreation of something he made is incredibly touching, and means the world to me.

Okay, enough with the sappy stuff, you're here to find out what the next video is. Well, it's Spooky Season, which means I get to cover another Halloween song! I honestly didn't think I'd make it this far in YouTube to be able to cover halloween songs for a third year, but here we are! I've decided to tackle the classic "Ghostbusters" theme as this years cover. I don't plan on doing a second halloween song this month, but if there is enough demand for a specific song, I'll consider it!

I've attached the latest MIDI demo for you guys to listen to. I think this video is going to be a lot of fun (and not nearly as draining as Panini, thank God). You'll notice some vocal parts are missing from the MIDI, just because it's nearly impossible to play speaking parts accurately on keyboard. When recording those sections on Otamatone, I usually just record over the vocal track of the original so I can get the inflection just right. Alright, I'll see you all next weekend with the finished product.
