korea update #3 😭

so thankfully a friend of a friend was in korea and bc my translator bailed on me, she subbed in to come with me to my appointment today. it went MUCH MUCH better with her there and the doctor was saying that he REALLY recommended the laughing gas
anyways i am the 1/10 people that experience TERRIBLE laughing gas side effects and basically had a panic attack on the spot so im super high strung and then he pierces me with a needle literally 100s of times all over my face. once he finished one side of my face and half my forehead i just lost it and started bawling because i was emotionally going through it from the laughing gas
all in all, terrible terrible experience
the needles fucking hurt but the laughing gas was ten thousand times worse like worst feeling i’ve ever felt in my life LOL like take an anxiety attack and multiply that by 10
anyways he’s pretty confident that it will help me with my skin (GOD I FUCKING HOPE SO BC I JUST WENT THROUGH HELL AND BACK LIKE the pain is bad but what’s worse about it is it’s tiny needle injections all over your face so the pain just goes on for forever) and set me up for success from here on out
i’ve never wanted a hug more from john than in this moment like jesus christ i can’t even put into words how bad that was HAHA
they say beauty is PAIN AND THEY WERE SO SO RIGHT 😭

i work in dental (with kids) and laughing gas use is super common for procedures but unfortunately it’s not really recommended for 15+ because of the possible negative reaction that is also (unfortunately) super common. I’m so sorry that it was your experience! It’s very scary! I’m glad everything is okay now

And obviously that doctor should've considered your opinion and not have don't laughing gas. Hoping you feel better soon after that experience
