I got the second base motion down pretty well, after I realized that it was looking really janky because the "up and down" motion was lined up with the "left and right" swings of the hip instead of the "front and back", which now that its timed up with the front and back, looks a lot better.
I do however really need to work on making the transition between the first motion and the second motion a lot smoother. It really shows how amateur I am still, that non-loop animation is as hard for me to pin down as this is. Afterwards I'll need to make the transition back to the first motion, and then ensure that it all looks good from the second camera angle
