Just found out last night that apparently Patreon doesn't allow raffles to be done through/as a reward tier or pledge.
Which means that I might still be able to do a raffle or something, it just can't be done through patreon directly, I believe. Which means I will need to do something with the $10 pledge so that it isn't an empty pledge - Which goes without saying that offering something solid and guaranteed is most likely better than a chance on both sides
I was thinking that I incorporate this into adding tiers for basically commissions, having the $10 tier being a still render every month on top of the previous rewards, and then adding a $30+ tier that involves getting an animation with my normal commission rates ($10/s)
I feel as though that'd be skimping out on the $20 pledge which would be a weird gap for me. I've no idea what I would do as an in-between for still renders and the animations
What do you guys think about it? Since I can't *offer* a raffle *through* patreon, changing the tier to a still render, and adding in a limited-slot(if need be?) tier for 3s+ animations. The additional tier for the animations might be a good if I do end up changing to an up-front charge
