53)Perfection? Not For Me: Ch.53
Added 2025-07-03 16:40:50 +0000 UTC“So, you shall not be attending the battle, then?”, Beerus asked with a frown as he sat in the shade of a tree on his planet, Cuu shaking his head as he sat beside the man.
“I still will, but I am just a clone that will do so. The original is connected to all of us while doing his own research so he will still be there, but in spirit.”
“Are you as strong as you?”
“Not even close. Currently, I'd say I have a little over a tenth of the strength the original has, but it's more than enough to be on par with the Saiyans in their base form. Now then, I assume you all will be going to pick up the others.”
“Whis already left to fetch them. What about the other group?”, Beerus asked and as if on cue, another Cuu appeared with the Granolah and his group with him.
“Hey, Cu-Oh, it's you.”
“Don't 'It's you' him. Apologies, Lord Beerus. Granolah still suffers a few bad memories from our first meeting.”
“Oh right, I forgot that happened. Don't worry, the insignificant anger of a maggot doesn't bother me.”
“…A maggot, huh?”
“Granolah, no fighting,” The Cuu clone chimed in and the Cerelean turned to him before narrowing his eyes as Cuu stood up.
“Why the hell does your energy feel so weak?”
“I'm a clone. The real Cuu is busy with something a bit more urgent.”
“Which is?”
“A demon has taken Cuu's son and his attendants hostage and wants to absorb him for more power. It's divine matters and not something you mortals can help with,” Beerus explained with a wave of his hand, Granolah frowning as he turned to Cuu who gave an apologetic smile.
“You all are strong, but not strong enough.”
“How strong is this guy?”
“Half as strong as I am at my full power, but what he lacks in strength, he makes up for with his magical abilities.”
“That would explain why you're struggling. Well, if you need help at any point-”
“I'll come find you,” Cuu spoke with a smile and a nod, looking up as he sensed numerous energies drawing closer. It was not long before Whis and a God Cube landed in front of them, the Imperial Empire group watching as the Earth group walked out of the cube and looked at them.
“Holy~ That's a big guy,” Yamcha murmured as Goku and Vegeta walked closer, the Saiyan Prince crossing his arms as he looked at Broly while Goku whistled.
“Wow, you're even bigger than that Nappa guy Vegeta used to hang out with. I'm Goku, a Saiyan from Earth, and this is Vegeta, also a Saiyan from Earth. He also likes to claim that he's the prince of all Saiyans, but just ignore him when he does that.”
“It sounds like you're itching for a fight there, Kakarot,” Vegeta spoke with a frown, to which Goku just chuckled. Broly was just confused at the interaction before glancing at Cheelai who smiled and shrugged.
“You can bond while I…am going to bond with the other Saiyan wives over there.”
“Oh, it's Chichi and Bulma over there. Bulma's the one with the blue hair,” Goku helped and Cheelai gave a thankful smile before she walked over to the group of Earthlings, Bonyu following after while giving Granolah a narrowed-eyes stare.
“I know. I won't start a fight,” That made the red-skinned woman smile as she walked over before Granolah focused on Piccolo as the Namekian walked towards the Saiyans.
“Huh, I've never seen another Namekian other than Monaito.”
“What clan is he from?”
“Which one lets them use the wooden staff?”
“The Dragon Clan, then. Huh, I did not know there existed other Namekians other than the ones on New Namek.”
“There was a ton of them on my old planet, but…well, let's just say the Saiyans liked our planet and leave it at that.”
“I hear you. That one over there with the receding hairline tried to destroy our planet for the Dragon Balls.”
“Dragon Balls? Ah, those orbs that lets one grant any wish they desire, right?”, Granolah asked, nodding as Piccolo nodded while watching Goku and Vegeta talk to a smiling Broly.
“It's rare that we find another Saiyan still living.”
“We found one and another Namekian, but they did not have the best intents at heart so we had to let them pass on to the next life.”
“That's quite the nice way of saying that you killed them.”
“Eh, I was trying to sound sympathetic.”
“You're not?”
“Not in the slightest. The bastard nearly killed me,” Granolah grumbled, making Piccolo smirk before the five fighters looked at Cuu as he approached with a smirk.
“So, you five ready to face off against Universe 6's strongest.”
“Even if I lose, it's not my planet that gets taken away so I am quite okay with it.”
“The hell you are! If you lose, Champa will lord this over me for as long as we live and we gods live a long time!”, Beerus exclaimed as he walked to the group and Granolah raised an eyebrow while Cuu sighed.
“Just don't hold back in your batttle against them and you should be good.”
“Cuu if they lose and I lose Earth, I'm destroying their planet.”
“What did I say about needlessly destroying every planet you come across? I've already had to replace so many other planets that you destroyed or let Frieza destroy even though they were not needed.”
“Wait, create…other planets?”, Broly asked with wide eyes and Cuu blinked before smiling and nodding.
“Yeah, I'm strong enough to recreate the many planets that were lost over the millions of years of battles, but I think I've only just gotten a hundredth of the planets that were lost.”
“That's still quite a lot of planets.”
“Yeah, I think I'm at over 40 000 planets now or maybe more.”
“Wait, do you recreate the life on them too?”
“No, I just create the planets, alter the living circumstances of the planet, create micro organisms and then let nature run its course. If they survive and thrive, that's on them, but if they die, that's nothing to do with me. Oh, that reminds me. After this tournament, you guys are going to be on your own again,” I spoke, making the Earthlings raise an eyebrow while Beerus narrowed his eyes.
“And why is that?”
“You and I are going to be doing our jobs of creation and destruction or have you forgotten?”
“I have not, but we did our duty.”
“Yes, and that was for just five solar systems. Also, don't think that Whis didn't send me messages about you not doing your job.”
“Whis, you traitor!”, Beerus shouted as he walked over to Whis, who looked amused at the god's tantrums while the Earthlings looked confused. I just grinned before turning to Granolah as the king spoke up.
“So, when will we see you again?”
“Honestly, I think we've been pushing our luck with Lord Zeno for interacting with you guys for so long and letting you train with Beerus and Whis. I think it's going to be a fair while before we can talk to you guys again.”
“Well, then I suppose we shall enjoy what little time we have left with you, Cuu,” Granolah spoke with a smile as he patted my shoulder, making me chuckle before Broly nodded and the two walked over to their wives.
I know that it was not technically forbidden for the divine to interact with the mortal realm, but I think if Beerus and I want to make sure that our Mortal Level is high enough to not partake in the Tournament of Power, then we have to put our best foot forward.
'Hah, hopefully, we manage to raise it just enough to dodge the tournament, because if this follows the canon's period of events, then none of these guys are ready enough to face off against Jiren and the Pride Troopers.'

“None in the Seman Solar System…Nothing in the Garuga Solar System…No one in the Fradri Solar System… Fuck, where the hell are you?”, I murmured with a frown as I floated in the skies above the Sacred World of the Kais, my senses connected with every one of my clones that were teleported across the universe itself.
So far, I have not felt anything similar to the energy of Majin Ozotto, which is a bit worrying since I needed to find him before he does something. However, it is also not surprising considering that the demon is hiding in the gaps between dimensio-
'That's it. Damnit, Cuu. How could you be so stupid? If I want to find him, I need to search the Space Between…Spaces? Realms? Yeah, the Space Between Realms,' I thought with a smile as I recalled all but the one clone I had sent to watch the tournament.
With a thought, they all flared their energy to the max, Towa and Shiar appearing immediately beside me as I watched the clones activating Kaio-Ken.
“What exactly is your plan here?”
“Well, I've realized that the reason we can't Majin Ozotto is because he's not in any of the dimensions here. I can still feel Dabura's energy from here, which means he can't be in the Demon Realm and the universe is ever-expanding so he could be hiding in the void of space.”
“Where exactly are you going with this?”, Towa asked as the clones finished charging up and I smirked as each one took a deep breath.
“I was getting to that. If I can't find him in any dimension, then he might not be in any dimension. Instead, what if he's in the void between dimensions? Alright, clones! Let it rip!”
“YYEEAAAAHHHHH!!!”, The clones roared in unisons, all of them focusing their energy intotheir voice and their shouts at a singular point in the centre of the group.
It barely took a few seconds before the space at the centre of the shouts began to ripple, slowly peeling open the concept that is space layer by layer until I finally caught sight of the void in there.
'If it worked for helping Super Buu escape the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, then it most definitely works for me.'
“Okay, I'll see you guys in a few moments with Glorio and the others. Also, do you need my help for that?”, I asked as I looked to the side, narrowing my eyes at the two invisible figures that thought they were hiding before looking to Towa as she snorted and shook her head.
“There's no need. Shiar and I are more than enough for them. Go get our son back,” She declared and I grinned as I launched myself forward, shooting through the portal and into the Space Between Realms.
As soon as I did, I grinned as I felt Ozotto's energy far away. Quickly going to teleport, I frowned as I felt the teleportation not working and tried a few times to no success.
'I guess teleportation can't exist in a realm that exists outside the concept of space…This is some bullshit. Well, I guess it's flying time.'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Now, why don't you reveal yourself and we don't kill you?”, Towa spoke as she turned to face their hidden adversaries, Shiar doing the same while creating a ki blade as the one of the left sighed.
“I told you they would see us.”
“Well, I did not expect their ki sensing to be that high level,” The second grumbled as they dropped their invisibility, both Towa and Shiar frowning at the sight of two grinning Cuu looking at them.
Towa noted that they had a close resemblance to his Cell-Frieza fusion form that he had shown her once other than the light pink streaks running down the sides of their faces and one of them having a more curvaceous build while the other had a more muscular build.
“You should have. It's Towa, after all and while I'm not sure who the other one is, she is a Supreme Kai so strength is to be expected.”
“I'm guessing you're with that Ozotto, sent here to stop us from following after Cuu?” Towa asked as she twirled her sceptre, watching as the male one snorted while the female giggled.
“Not really. I'm not even sure why Ozotto thinks he has a chance against the original if he's far stronger than we are, but we were sent here to kill you.”
“Oh, really? You believe you can?”
“Please, we've fought numerous simulated variants of you and killed you with ease every time.”
“Why do you all look like Cuu?”, Shiar chimed in and Towa wanted to know as well as both clones raised an eyebrow.
“You believe we'll answer that.”
“No, but it did distract you,” She spoke before the male one quickly raised an arm, Towa narrowing her eyes as he blocked her attack with a frown.
“I suppose one can't trust a simulation to exhibit the full power of someone as powerful as you!”, The clone grunted as he pushed her back, Towa smirking as she rushed back in and sent him flying back across the planet.
“Shiar, think you can take her?”
“As one of Cuu's wives, it would be my pleasure,” Shiar spoke with a smile as she flourished her energy blade, to which Towa giggled as she flew after the male clone.
“Aren't you two underestimating us a bit to split up?”, The clone asked as she created a ki blade as well, to which Shiar smirked before the air exploded as her ki rippled outwards.
“I am Shiar, the former West Supreme Kai, and she is Towa, sister to the Demon King Dabura. Believe me when I say that you do not stand a chance.”
“Well, we'll see about that,” The clone murmured before both fighters rushed at the other, swinging their swords and clashing with the sharp ringing of energy grinding against energy.
Shiar frowned as she felt the power behind the clone's blow before pushing her back, delivering a quick thrust that the clone parried and countered with a slash of her own.
Creating a ki blade from her elbow to help her parry the attack upwards, Shiar swung her arm back and sliced off the arm of the clone at the elbow. The victory did not last long as the clone grinned and regrew her arm within seconds.
“Regeneration. Well, at least I can admit that you will be as annoying to kill as Cuu,” The Supreme Kai murmured as she shifted her stance, to which the clone smirked as she replicated the woman's stance with a giggle.
“Now, then. Let us see if you can dance,” With her sentence finished, the clone launched forward with her blade first, their clash a lot faster this time. The air shrieked as the two blurred through the air, each clash having enough force to shatter anything and everything within their vicinity.
Shiar's movements were precise and calculated, countering each of the clone's frantic slashes with her own while studying the clone's fighting stance with narrowed eyes.
While the clone did fight like Cuu, her movements were too fast and too gleeful, as if she was not used to enjoying the battle and it showed when the clone could have gone for a fatal slash.
Instead, she settled for dragging her blade up Shiar's sword arm, the Kai frowning as she healed the wound while watching as the clone floated in waiting with an excited smile.
“You're enjoying this too much.”
“Am I really? You see, my brother and I never get the opportunity to go out and about like we are right now so I must admit that I am enjoying this a bit,” The clone spoke with a smile and a tilted head, Shiar raising an eyebrow at the mocking innocence in its eyes.
“You are and that is your weakness.”
“Is it really? I thought mortals said it made life worth living.”
“That would be the case if it were not for the fact that you are a mockery to all things living. You are nothing more than a parasite wearing a familiar face.”
“Well, I was trying to be friendly and now you've gone and insulted me.”
'If you want to make sure your opponent is always not stable on the battlefield, simply insult them and don't stop.'
“Did that hurt your feelings?”, Shiar asked with a mocking smile, channelling Towa's advice and making the clone's grin falter for a moment as she narrowed her eyes.
That was just enough time as another ki blade formed on her free arm, the woman launching herself forward with a thunderclap echoing in her wake. Her first combo of slashes was fast and direct, the clone's eyes widening as she quickly ducked and weaved around them.
Soon, Shiar was nothing but a blinding storm of slashes, the clone parrying and blocking as many as she could while a nostalgic smile spread across Shiar's face as she began to feel the Dancer awaken.
Delivering a flurry of rapid cuts that the clone did her best to block, Shiar dismissed her blades before ducking under the clone's stab, reforming her blades before littering the clone's chest with holes.
The clone's eyes were wide before they narrowed in anger, quickly regenerating her wounds while a scarlet energy enveloped her form.
“Kaio-Ken x10!”, The clone snarled as her arm bulged, Shiar watching the blade approaching her neck before a sparkling silver aura enveloped her form and she smiled.
The clone sliced through her neck before her eyes widened when Shiar's form dispersed, looking down to see a hand stabbed through her chest. Shiar didn't stop as she continued ripping her arm out through the side, holding a ki bubble in her hand that also contained a pulsating mass of flesh.
“If you hadn't moved your core around so much, I would never have found it,” The Kai spoke with a smile as she disintegrated it, watching as the clone's eyes widened before her body turned to ash and fell to the floor.
Taking deep breaths as she slowly deactivated her transformation, Shiar hissed as the backlash of the technique hit her and floated down to the ground to rest.
'I have done some training with Master Whis, but it appears my variation of Ultra Instinct is still not on par with his.'
A/N: And we end it here~!! Firstly, it's not Ultra Instinct or its Omen form. Instead, Shiar uses a combination of god ki, Kaio-Ken and the principles of Ultra Instinct to boost her body beyond its limits to kind of mimic its effects.
As you all can see, though, even using it for a few seconds has some severe backlash to her as she's only been training it for a month so she has a fair bit to go before she can handle it.
Anyway, next chapter: Time vs Clone and Creation vs Gluttony.
As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!!
