“Hey, Kakuzu! This one looks familiar, doesn't he?”

“He should. That's the Nine Tails Jinchuriki,” Kakuzu spoke with an irritated tone and I grimaced as I saw Hidan blink before a sadistic smile slowly spread across his face.

“Oh? So, I should get him too, then.”

“No, our target is simply the Feudal Lord and his army. The boy is to be left alive without maiming him.”

“Oh, come on~! We're supposed to gather them, aren't we?”

“Yes, but not now.”

'So, they're still sticking with that timeframe, huh? Well, at least that's go-Wait, that's not good. That just means they're going to beat my ass without needing to,' I wish I could just turn and run, but unfortunately, running now would negatively affect the entirety of the Hidden Leaf.

As if the Immortal Duo wasn't enough, I gave a mental curse as four more figures landed beside the two and while I only recognized two of them as being the ones that attacked the group earlier, the other two were ones I recognized entirely from the filler arcs.

'That's that Aoi guy with the Tobirama sword and the other…that's Raiga with his Kiba blades. Wait, but where's that kid with the red eyes? I guess he's not a part of this world. Still, a lightning saber and twin lightning blades, huh? I know two guys that those would fit perfectly, but the guys in question aren't here.'

“What are you fools doing here?”

“We thought that-”

“No, you don't think. You act when we say you act. Did you finish off your targets?”, I heard Kakuzu ask Raiga and Aoi, smirking as both men shook their heads before readying myself as Hidan cackled.

“Haha!! More sacrifices for Lord Jashin!”

“This is what I wanted to avoid. Fine, Hidan, you distract the Jinchuriki. The rest of you distract the samurai while I take care of the target.”

“Samurai!”, I glanced to the side as I heard Yamamoto's shout, seeing the man stop beside me before unsheathing his katana and lighting it ablaze.

“You…you're Yamamoto Ryumon, The Ember of Hell.”

“Is he any good?”

“He's on par with the Twelve Guardian Shinobi in terms of infamy with an A-Rank bounty of 28 million ryo.”

'Oh, he's that good,' I thought in surprise as Yamamoto shifted his footing, the samurai mimicking his movements before I caught the flicker of greed in Kakuzu's eyes.

“Hidan, change of plans. You kill the target and the other samurai. You four, go and do something else.”

“We'll take care of the group approaching.”

“And do not fail us this time,” Hidan spoke with a menacing smile before the four vanished, making me frown as I watched both Hidan and Kakuzu walking towards us.

“Samurai! Protect your lord to the best of your abilities!”

“Yes sir!”, The samurai shouted right as Hidan went to rush in, but he stopped as I grinned and made a cross hand sign.

“Kurama!”

“Already on it!”, The fox spoke with a growl as his chakra flared in my body, the two Akatsuki members looking to me as red chakra bubbled around my body and three tails formed behind me.

Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!

The air rumbled as a thick smoke of cloud obscured the entire area we were in, Lord Hiroshi's surprised shout echoing in it before a burst of wind dispersed the smoke.

“Well, I guess Itachi wasn't wrong, huh?”, I heard Hidan say as the two looked at the army of clones around them, each having scarlet-red eyes with slit pupils and their canines extended. The samurai looked astonished and Yamamoto turned to me as I grinned and gave a thumbs-up.

“I got them. You go and protect your lord,” I spoke, watching as the man looked at me before I smiled as he nodded and shouted for his men to follow him.

“So, Kakuzu, still think you can take him on your own?”

“I can. Go and kill the samurai.”

Water Style: Water Bullet Barrage!

Before the scythe user could move, the two men turned as a barrage of water bullets flew through the air, a fifth of the clones putting their all into the attack and popping in the process.

Water Style: Water Wall

Kakuzu's hand signs were quick as the man stomped on the ground, a three-layered wall of water shooting out from the ground and surrounding the two men.

“All right, clones! We got two Akatsuki members probably or par with Itachi and Kisame, which means no holding back! We use everything at our disposal to make sure the lord makes it out, understood?!”

“Right!”, The clones shouted in unison, Naruto nodding while turning his gaze back just in time to see the wall sinking back into the ground as Kakuzu narrowed his eyes at the blonde.

The next moment, Kakuzu clapped his hands and Naruto frowned as the skin around two of the masks on his back stretched before it burst open. One mask fell onto all fours and water dripped from its body while the other floated in the air with electricity sparking around its body.

Wind Style: Vacuum Blast Barrage!

Lightning Style: False Darkness!

Water Style: Severing Wave!

Ten of the clones stepped forward and blew out sharp wind blades that sliced through the air, but Kakuzu's water mask quickly spat out a high-pressured burst of water that clashed with the wind blades.

The lightning mask however aimed his attack at the clones and they quickly hopped back, most of the clones immediately rushing for Hidan who grinned before he charged at them.

The first clone was sliced in half before it could see the movement, Hidan not even caring for the kunai that stabbed through his lungs as he kicked backwards and shattered the ribs of another.

Both clones popped with a high-pitched screech that disoriented the man for a brief moment, Another clone took the opportunity and tackled the man to the ground, but Hidan laughed as he stabbed his fingers into the eyes of the clones before ripping its head clean off.

Kicking another aside that tried to pin his legs, Hidan flipped to his feet while swinging his scythe wildly, throwing it up into the air before expertly twisting and pulling at the cable connected to it to take out another dozen.

“Hey, Kakuzu! You want to help or are you just going to watch me do your job?!”

'Kurama, got any ideas on how to beat them?'

“I've got one for that Hidan idiot.”

'Is it the same one I got that involves your chakra?', Naruto asked as he stayed in the mass of clones surrounding the duo, watching Kakuzu's masks flying in the air and firing down Water Style and Lightning Style jutsu while the main man easily kept them at bay with simple taijutsu.

'No, not just simple taijutsu. He has that Earth Style jutsu that hardens his body active.'

“Yes, it's that same one. You wanna do it now or wait for a better opportunity?”

'We keep sending out clones and they're going to figure out what we can do. No, now. Ready?'

“Go,” He spoke and I rushed in, most of the clones following my lead and making Kakuzu frown as half of the clones leapt into the air to attack from above while the rest of us rushed in from below.

“Well, you fucked up,” Hidan spoke with a smirk and Naruto's eyes widened before he quickly hopped back along with half of the group as Kakuzu's chakra flared.

Earth Grudge Fear

“He did indeed,” Kakuzu spoke in a gravelly tone before his body erupted, hundreds of grey tendrils shooting from his body and stabbing through every single clone that still tried to attack them.

“…Well, shit. What now?”, One of the clones muttered as Naruto stayed silent, watching both Akatsuki members turn their eyes towards the clone that had spoken before he nodded.

'Okay, new plan, Kurama. One on one.'

“That is a suicidal plan…and I love it! Let's go,” The fox growled excitedly and Naruto grinned before he rolled his shoulders and looked to Hidan.

“Hey, you! Silver-haired bitch!”

“Me?”

“Yeah, you! You and me, one on one right here! No clones and no friend helping you!”

“No, we're-”

“Well, come on then, you blonde Jinchuriki bastard! You and me. No jutsu, no scythe, no weapons!”, The man spoke with a grin as he rushed in, Naruto doing the same before the two slammed forearms against the other.

Naruto gritted his teeth as he did his best to hold his ground, glaring at Hidan who looked ecstatic as he leaned down to grin at the boy.

Pushing Naruto back, Hidan swung a kick at his head and the blonde blocked it, digging his rear foot into the ground as he ducked with it before delivering a roundhouse to the man's jaw.

A loud snap echoed in the air as the kick connected, Hidan's jaw snapping loose with a crack, but the man only laughed as he reached up and snapped his jaw back.

Catching Naruto's punch, the man slammed his knee into his chest, cackling as Naruto gagged while keeping his hand on his fist.

“That was a nice one! Give me more! Lord Jashin wants more!”, Hidan growled as he helped Naruto up, the blonde gasping to get air into his lungs before leaping up and biting down on Hidan's shoulder.

“Hahahaha! That's what I-”, Hidan's eyes widened as his limbs went slack, a grin growing on Naruto's face as he wrapped his arms and legs around the man's upper body before biting down harder.

“Hidan?”

“I…I-I…I don't know…I don'-Uargh~!”, Hidan coughed up blood as he fell to the ground, Kakuzu looking confused as Naruto let go of the man and stumbled back. It was moments later that a blood-curdling shriek escaped Hidan's lips, surprising Kakuzu before he looked up at Naruto who grinned.

“You see…as the Nine Tails' Jinchuriki, I'm used to his chakra since I've been exposed to it since I was in the womb. Unfortunately, Kurama's chakra requires a very special body to survive and once it's in your body…”, Naruto trailed off as Hidan went still, his eyes wide and his skin paling as more and more blood poured out of his orifices.

“He's still alive, but his body is unable to move as every cell and every drop of chakra is trying to fight off my chakra.”

'So, he'll survive, then?'

“Oh, he'll survive, but every second of the rest of his existence will be spent in nothing but pain and anguish.”

'Good. That's what he gets for killing Asuma in another universe, but we're not done,' Naruto thought as he created a clone and popped it, the other clones nodding before they all rushed for Hidan's body.

Kakuzu was quick to unleash his tendrils once again and stab them through the clones, but their job was done as each took out an explosive kunai and threw it at the body.

“Art…is an EXPLO-!”, Naruto stopped as more tendrils erupted from the ground and wrapped around Hidan, pulling him down right as the kunai exploded in a blaze of glory.

“You…how do you know those words?”, Kakuzu spoke with a growl as he looked to Naruto, who saw the cold anger dancing in the man's eyes before nodding.

'Well, Lord Hiroshi is probably far away by now along with the clones and the army so there was no need for me to risk my life.'

“You would be correct. However, can you outrun them?”

'Do you know who you're talking to?', Naruto asked with a smirk as he took a deep breath, wincing as the last of Kurama's chakra stitched the wound shut before the boy crouched low on all fours.

'Yeah, we're not making it out here on our own so Kurama, it's time to take over. We're going five tails.'

“You can barely handle staying in control of your anger with three.”

'Yeah, but that was when I'm in control,' Naruto spoke and he could feel Kurama's excitement before closing his eyes, the boy opening them once more to reveal blood-red eyes with slit pupils staring Kakuzu down.

The man in question immediately noticed the shift in the atmosphere as Naruto growled lowly, red chakra bubbling out from his skin before his eyes widened as five tails of chakra formed behind him in an instant.

“Ohoho~ I forgot how painful my chakra can be~”, Kurama growled as his skin began to peel off, his nerves feeling on fire and blood dripping from every pore of his body as a thick layer of red chakra condensed and formed around his body.

A menacing growl echoed from the monster's lips as he looked at Kakuzu, who now had four masked monsters at his sides while the man himself took off his Akatsuki robe.

With a thunderous roar, the air exploded as Naruto's clones popped all at the same time, creating a thick cloud that was quickly dispersed by a powerful burst of wind from the wind mask.

However, as Kakuzu readied himself for a battle, he was surprised as the monster turned and took off into the forest, watching him rapidly hop from tree after tree before grimacing as he turned to where Hidan was still bleeding out.

'The leader is not going to like this.'

“You sure we should be going over, sensei?!”

“No, but have you ever seen Naruto that panicked and it not be something bad?”, Kakashi asked, to which Sakura grimaced as she remembered that the blonde was not the type to just randomly panic about something.

“That's true. We should spe-!”, Karin's eyes widened and she quickly stopped, the team doing the same as Sasuke activated his Sharingan while Kakashi lifted his headband to show his.

“Oh, you are still here? Well, no one can say that you are cowardly, Kakashi Hatake,” Raiga spoke with a smirk as he landed on the tree in front of them, a smirking Aoi landing beside him and the two women landing on either side of them.

“And I see that you are most likely here to stop us from reaching our comrade, then?”

“Oh, yes, but even if we're not here, you would not contend with Lord Hidan and Lord Kakuzu. They're called the Immo-”

“Must you blab out every little secret to our enemies?”, Raiga asked with a frown as he looked at Aoi, who rolled his eyes as Kakashi filed that information for later.

“Why? It's not like the blonde fool will survive facing off against them.”

Tailed Beast Charge!

Honestly, it was his own id-”, Aoi stopped his talking as he felt a cold sensation overcoming his body, blinking as he went airborne before looking down to see his body falling to its knees while a red-skinned monster landed with a deafening boom.

“Oh…”, Aoi murmured as his body fell back, Raiga immediately hopping back as the five tails surged forward and cut both girls in half while barely missing Raiga.

The other tails twisted and flew towards Raiga, whose Kiba blades sparked as he rapidly cut through the tails of chakra while trying to get away as best as he can.

The beast growled as it pulled its tails back while regenerating, taking a deep gulp of air before spitting out a barrage of air bullets that made Raiga's eyes wide as he quickly moved out of the way.

The bullets ripped through the trees as the monster turned its head, continuing its barrage and making Raiga curse as he turned and began to run away.

While he was confident in his skills, he was not so confident to think that he could take on a Jinchuriki that was using five tails, the beast stopping its barrage as it watched Raiga running away in the distance.

A low growl echoed from its lips as it turned to Team 7 who, while still surprised about the beast's sudden appearance, were now wary as they watched it walk closer before Kakashi's eyes widened as the chakra got pulled back into its form.

When it did, Kakashi quickly rushed in and caught Naruto's form, the boy taking deep breaths while Karin lifted her sleeve and held her arm up. Sasuke looked in shock at the blonde's form before catching sight of something glinting on the ground, walking over and picking up the bloody form of the Sword of the Thunder God's hilt.

“Kurama…is already healing me. Don't worry,” He rasped out as his vocal cords were being healed, to which the girl grimaced as she saw him tearing off the burnt bits of skin while bleeding.

“That's a lie. My chakra will take a while to help you regenerate.”

'Yeah, but my own chakra will stop the worse injuries. Besides, we may need their chakra for when we do find Lord Hiroshi.'

“Hah, fine. I'll get you up to speed.”

'Thanks.'

“What did you fight for you to be this injured?”, Sasuke asked with a frown and Naruto chuckled before coughing up blood, shaking his head as Karin held her arm out with a frown.

“Only to help boost the process,” Karin spoke with a frown and Naruto looked at her before biting down slightly, feeling her chakra flush through his body and watched as he felt some of the burn fading away as well.

“Thanks,” Naruto spoke, to which Karin nodded with a smile as she lowered her sleeve while hiding his shock as he could feel Kurama's chakra flooding his body.

“Oh, her chakra is quite the boost to yours.”

'I know. Oh, right. Sasuke asked a question.'

“I fought against two Akatsuki members.”

“What were their names?”

“I think they said Hidan and Kakuzu, but I might have been wrong.”

“What about Lord Hiroshi?”

“Oh, I got him and his samurai away from the fight, but I want us to hurry over just in case something happens.”

“Okay, we're getting him and then we're heading back to the village.”

“Really, sensei?”, Sakura asked with a frown and Kakashi nodded as he watched Naruto struggling to walk while his body recover.

“Really. If the Akatsuki are willing to sent A-Rank and S-Rank shinobi after Lord Hiroshi, this isn't a mission for a genin team and a Special Jounin. Unless you four think you can take on S-Rank shinobi?”

“Zabuza was an A-Rank and he humbled me. I'm good,” Naruto muttered, Sasuke grimacing at that before he looked at Karin and Sakura who nodded in agreement.

“Very well. Let's go get the lord and make our way back to Konoha.”

Anyway, A bit of a showcase of what happens when Naruto tries to use Kurama's chakra with a body that isn't ready.

Again, he will be ready, but Naruto has been focusing too much on Jutsu and not on training his physical body so that is why he still got injured that much even with Hashirama's training.

If Kurama wasn't helping him, well, the guy would be a comatose body by now.
