I'm alive, kinda.
Added 2019-04-29 10:23:42 +0000 UTCI'd like to apologize for being completely off-grid for all this time, it wasn't exactly a concious decision.
When I last checked in I just got back from a short(er) hospital stay, for what the doctor said was an ulcer infection. Had to stay there for treatment, and to make sure it's not perforated, but since the symptoms started to fade and I felt better I could come home.
On the second night at home, (a day after the last post I made) I started feeling like shit again, and in like half an hour I was curled up on the floor in fetal position. My father lives across the street, he drove me to the hospital (which is also close by, like a 10 minute ride) but I passed out along the way.
Turns out I had a thing called "gastrointestinal perforation", basically a ruptured bowel. Just as fun as it sounds. I remember laying on the hospital bed talking to my dad, for what he says was before the surgery, but after that I was completely out for a week or so. He said i was having hazy but proper conversations with him and some relatives which I can't recall at all.
Since then, I had a mild infection and a second (but for a change not life-saving) surgery, got transferred to a recovery clinic (at least I think that's the english term) and completely lost my grip on things.
I have no excuse for not contacting you guys in some form, I can only apologize. Never been so low in my life, physically or mentally.
That said, now that I'm out, not pissing through a straw and can eat solids again, I'm planning to pick up where I left off as soon as I can. I'm genuinely sorry, and to those of you who sticked with their pledges even though there was absolutely no lifesign for months I'm quadruple-double sorry.
