Story length poll results
Added 2022-11-10 16:07:33 +0000 UTC10 Days ago I posted a poll where people could vote for the story length they prefer. The results are quite... mixed? It seems there are people who like really long stories while others like the shorter/getting into the action quick stories more. It's usefull information for me: Knowing that sometimes doing a short story OR a story that is much longer, is both accepted and I won't have to worry about that anymore. Thank you all for your feedback. It helps me to make up my mind whenever I reach a point in the future where I think the story is "too long". Again, Thank you :) <3

2022-11-21 15:22:35 +0000 UTCMaybe... I should be doing that. In many cases I feel like I'm spoiling things a bit. I get it though, since I also have very long moments of silence where (Even though I'm working on something) things might seem to be standing still completely.

And mainstream is always easier on the likes/views. Your single pagers are all pretty alike. That said, I'd say just make what you like :) But I definitely joined because of the Frostburn Story. Hope to support you in similar creations!

Since this is just one poll, people won't mind spending a few seconds on it, hence, the amount of people actually answering is much higher. While multiple choice takes much longer and I felt like people wouldn't complete all questions, making the entire thing a mess.

2022-11-10 22:14:38 +0000 UTCIt's kinda strange since when looking at the frostburn pages and the "results" as in likes/favorites and even the amount of people looking at them, are far lower than many other standalone pieces I've done. I like working on the series (So Lyana Frostburn will definitely return) but her future perils will be closer aimed to the my main audience and my own true interests: Latex/Leather/Ponygirls and big boobs. I guess rope and strange skin changing oils are not for my audience.

2022-11-10 18:30:25 +0000 UTCI joined your fanbox too late for the poll but I'd have voted 6/10 too. I actually joined because of the Lyana Frostburn series. I always thought the 1 pagers were too little and KOSA too much. Frostburn was perfect. I don't need these stories to have actual arcs, or reversals, or extended dialogue. But I do want them extended a bit to really get into them. It can just basically be endless exposition like with Frostburn (which is super great! love the text) and having every page be an escalation and continuation of the last.
