Yeah, I'm always hesitant to recommend Evangelion to people. Basically every content warning imaginable. Especially End of Eva. One plus for the later movies though- they're all relatively tame.

2021-09-28 06:03:37 +0000 UTCEnd of Evangelion is basically the end of the anime series. If you want to see the anime series concluded, that's what you want to watch. I think the thing you downloaded has it both split into two halves, or one big file containing both halves of the movie. Think it's just a convenience thing. The 4 other movies are available to stream on Amazon Prime. Without spoiling too much, they start off in the same place as the anime series, but go somewhere entirely new. You can really tell the creator is older and happier and healthier. I really love them and think they're worth watching, but I guess that's up to you. 2021-09-28 05:49:28 +0000 UTCWhile the other movies are questionable, the End of Evangelion is definitely considered the grand finale. It's probably the most famous part of the show. I assume it's split into 2 parts because the credits are in the middle of the movie for some reason. The movie is like and hour and a half, so two 45 minute segments definitely make sense. I highly suggest watching those 2 parts together because they are part of the same movie. Heads up, End of Evangelion warrants like half of all content warnings imaginable. it is the most beloved part of the show, but it's content is more severe than the televised part of the show, and when people were warning you about the show they were mainly refering to end of eva. Just bringing it up because I think the whole "get reactor to watch the most shocking thing regardless of how they might feel just for the sake of shock value" thing is pretty messed up and people should have some idea about what they are walking into. Though maybe now I'm making it seem worse than actually is. idk I'm bad at warning people about stuff. I guess if I had to compare, if neon genesis evangelion is twin peaks, then end of evangelion is fire walk with me (assuming your header is a twin peaks reference and not just cool pictures of trees)
