2021-08-08 01:58:00 +0000 UTCYep. Different arrangements, genres, and sometimes different singers for each one. One of the pretty unique things about Evangelion. I can't think of any other animes that did anything like that. Even music-focused series don't do that.

2021-08-08 00:24:55 +0000 UTCNot sure if you've noticed, but each Evangelion episode ends with a different cover of Fly Me To The Moon. So there's like, 26 different versions or something, all from different record labels. I think that's probably why Netflix didn't try and get the licenses. Lot more work than the usual 1 or 2 songs per season.
