+1 for Sense8. It might be the most pride-themed show on this list. There's even footage of SanFran Pride. VERY gay, also very explicit.

2020-05-23 19:34:16 +0000 UTCIt was also just announced today that Motherland got renewed for a season 2! Hope you check it out even if it not for a reaction because this show has so much representation and it’s just amazing.

2020-05-19 22:09:29 +0000 UTCOh, and I just remembered another one I have fond memories of which is "Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl" It's pretty much a yuri story about a main character who gets transformed into a girl. Usually shows with that type of situation mostly just play off of it for comedy, and while this one does that a little bit initially, I still think most of it was pretty enjoyable. Although there is this kinda creepy thing with the dad (a magazine photographer) taking pictures of his (now) daughter that gets played as a running gag at times, so fair warning on that. While Strawberry Panic was my first yuri anime, this was probably one of the first shows that made me start to develop egg/closeted trans thoughts. It's a very feel good anime. Though I do remember crying in the later half of it.

2020-05-19 10:58:11 +0000 UTCI recommend Strawberry Panic! Been years since I watched it, but I really enjoyed it. It's pretty melodramatic/cheesy, but I kinda like that about it ^ ^ It also takes place in a freaking religious academy lol Was basically my first introduction to that genre of anime. Basic premise is that it focuses on a group of different girls and their relationships. The main character is basically a transfer student who comes from a more modest, public school who is now at a prestigious private campus. There's 26 episodes in total I think!

2020-05-19 10:46:10 +0000 UTCA great show is Motherland: Fort Salem if you haven’t already checked it out. The main character is a lesbian and her love interest is another main character. There’s only 9 episodes out right with the season 1 finale coming out on Wednesday. It can be angsty with some stuff but the cast and creators have basically said that they are endgame so there’s no worry of bury your gays tropes and stuff like that. Also totally looking forward to Bloom into you, it so great.

2020-05-19 07:33:41 +0000 UTCReally looking forward to this so much Especially Given Also I like to recommend season 2 of "Kora, Mimi ga mieteru! 2" Assuming that you watch the season one (I sent you wait the gay cat boys on YouTube b4 when you talked about citrus) Also Jie Yao and/or TightRope there also great gay anime

2020-05-18 20:36:47 +0000 UTCrevolutionary girl utena is sooo good
2020-05-18 20:03:08 +0000 UTC+1 for Utena. It's arguably THE yuri show of the 90s (along whit the gay parts of Sailor Moon) and still relevant since a bunch of cartoons like Steven universe and Shera makes references to it.
2020-05-18 18:16:01 +0000 UTCWe watched The Half of It over the weekend and it was pretty great. Hope Utena makes your list. Was an early favorite of mine, and I'd love an excuse to rewatch it.

2020-05-18 17:21:14 +0000 UTCI've seen runaways, Karolina and Nico are adorable
2020-05-18 16:53:56 +0000 UTC(granted I've only seen the first season and a half so I'm not sure how it turns out and also) not sure if you've already seen it but Marvel's Runaways has a LGBT theme/relationship!

2020-05-18 16:52:32 +0000 UTCyep! trying to finish seasons 1& 2 before june rn!
2020-05-18 16:44:13 +0000 UTCI know of the animation references in She-Ra but I know literally nothing about the series so I think it would be a fun one
2020-05-18 16:43:51 +0000 UTCright? that's what makes it tough to find shows since LGBT themes and characters are usually reserved as sideplots in other shows. mistreated sideplots at that
2020-05-18 16:43:14 +0000 UTCyeah... I watched it a few weeks ago during the She-Ra drought based on a recommendation... whyyyyyyyyy. I may do a video just talking about it and it's... proclivities in june
2020-05-18 16:42:13 +0000 UTCKilling eve !! Esp the current season

2020-05-18 16:30:55 +0000 UTCUgh, Citrus. I regret the time I wasted on that, what was wrong with me. Couldn't even see the last episode I got so fed up with it. The other choices sound awesome though!

2020-05-18 16:30:19 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be going through a ton of stuff that is regular coverage this month to catch up. Hoping to finish Tangled in June too
2020-05-18 16:28:10 +0000 UTCWell I was gonna say Givin and Yuri on Ice but you already got em lol. I’m really excited though; a pride themed month for shows and movies is a really cool idea.
