The MinnMax Show - Borderlands 4, Nintendo Direct Highlights, Silksong's Final Verdict
Added 2025-09-17 22:02:57 +0000 UTCMinnMax's Ben Hanson, Jeff Marchiafava, Jacob Geller, and Leo Vader along with special guest Brendon Bigley from Into The Aether and Wavelengths share early impressions of Borderlands 4 and how the action compares to the new roguelite FPS Void/Breaker. Then we run through our favorite moments from the Nintendo Direct on Friday, including the reveal of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, the Super Mario Galaxy movie, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond's release date. Then we return to Hollow Knight: Silksong to share our final thoughts on the game's scope and ambition... without spoiling key moments or fights. We also talk about the generous demo for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and the history of Falcom's incredibly long-running series. After that, it's nothing but community questions!

I am only just listing to the podcast, and was actually playing Domino Drop! I don’t know where I found it but I’ve played it for years, I’m not good at it but it passes time almost every day!

2025-09-26 16:07:50 +0000 UTCStarted playing domino drop after it was mentioned during the podcast and the music continued to play in the background. Imagine jazzy beats flooding the airwaves as you guys continued to chat away about pod cast history, it really classed up the show! TLDR, domino drop + Minnmax = Magic

2025-09-25 20:58:19 +0000 UTCNice guest! This convinced me, I'll try one of those Aether episodes. Btw I don't think Mario needs to go to other universes really. He can still spend the next 3 movies going underwater, to the beach, to the desert, a haunted mansion, playing tennis, riding yoshi, fighting Wario... I don't think it pulls new people in if he meets Metroid or something.

2025-09-18 11:38:24 +0000 UTCIm having such a mixed experience with Silk Song. Its fun and I enjoy the exploration, but I dont like any of the biomes as much as I like the ones in the first game.
