Pew Pew Bang - The Cooking Episode (Ad-Free)

Update: Thanks to popular demand, these ad-free episodes will now have video versions as well! Video - Pew Pew Bang - The Cooking Episode (Ad-Free)

Now that Pew Pew Bang has sponsors, we wanted to make sure we have an ad-free, direct-support option for listeners who prefer it. So we'll be posting ad-free audio versions here on the MinnMax Patreon, which also feature a bonus opening segment called Sarah's Loaded Gun where Sarah surprises the crew with an incendiary hypothetical question. Thanks for your support!

Let them cook! Kelsey Lewin, Haley Maclean, Janet Garcia, and Sarah Podzorski talk favorite cooking games (and weird Gordon Ramsay cooking games), share trusted cooking tips and recipe sources, and host their own Pew Pew Bang video game dinner party!

Sarah inadvertently giving us a look into how Mr Beast videos get pitched with her intro segment.

I'm trying to remember the thoughts I had from when I was listening to this earlier, so bear with me: 1. Montana's reminds me of Bugaboo Creek, which DID have animatronic animal heads. 2. Cooking Mama on DS was a fantastic early DS game. I didn't like any Cooking Mama game after it, really, because I think the novelty wore off, but I remember everyone I showed it to in college on my DS liked it. 3. That Rainbow Road Drink sounds amazing. And I've also had Rainbow Road shot at a Barcade which had a Rainbow colored sour ribbon candy sitting on top of it, so Haley's drink gets an A+ from me. 4. This is late, but Sarah's Loaded Gun is fantastic. 5. My go to Idle game is "Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms" because all the characters are actually from the D&D universe and have actual D&D lore stories when you send your Champions on quests. 6. I enjoyed everyone's cooking stories. 7. This Like on Hinge story sounds like a 2025 Seinfeld or Friends episode. Also "You're putting this Like on a pedestal" is suuuuper true. 8. On the discussion of what to do about intrusive negativity, I personally have a thing where I give a little hum or like "Heh" but sharp, and usually that blows it out of my brain, but it doesn't happen too often. I think the idea relating to Sarah's saving positive comments sounds good, or like Kelsey's go out and be nice to someone. Or try a walk in the woods, if woods are available. Great episode y'all.
