For the grand finale of our thank you crusade, Ben Hanson, Ronnie, and E3 King Jeff Cork recorded a full commentary track for the extended edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. We talk about the incredible battle of Minas Tirith, Mt. Doom, Scooby-Doo, and Jeff Cork's adventures through New Zealand. Also, just a heads up that this commentary track is uncensored!
You can press play on the extended edition of The Return of the King when this audio track hits 00:01:54 to sync up with us.
We cannot thank you all enough for your help spreading the word about MinnMax and letting us hit 2,500 supporters on Patreon. We hope you've enjoyed this long journey, and our sincerest apologies again for everything we get wrong about Tolkien during the recordings. We'd love to record more commentary tracks in the future, let us know what movie you'd like to see! Thank YOU!

2021-08-08 15:07:52 +0000 UTCAnother great commentary. Totally a fun and hilarious way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I wanted to mention while Fellowship of the Ring is my favorite of the three films, Return of the King hits most emotionally only because of one scene; when Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Mary are at the pub in the end and feel so out of place among their fellow Hobbits. The feeling of being home but it no longer feels like home because the journey they had experienced had changed them was a heart breaking but familiar feeling for me as war veteran. This maybe the only film that i feel authentically captured that feeling and it still hits every time I see it. All in all it was awesome time going on this journey again with y’all MinnMax cohorts and can’t wait for the next one. 😉👍

2021-08-07 05:51:57 +0000 UTCI think you should do commentary tracks for each of the cohorts’ favorite movies. I mean why hasn’t there been a MinnMax Jurassic Park commentary yet? That just seems wrong.
