Great podcast dudez. I'm always amazed how many band and artist names Helgeson drops each episode. If the three of you were playing some kind of game where you go down the alphabet taking turns naming band/artist names, how may hours or maybe days would that take before ya'll drew a blank? Question for the great Mr. Cork, Dr. Helgeson and Professor Dafnis - there are some famous, or infamous, misheard or misunderstood lyrics throughout music. Is there one in particular that you swore you were singing correctly, but years later were corrected on the proper lyrics? For me personally, the 90s TLC hit "Waterfalls" I must've misheard when it was on the radio and I couldve sworn they were singing "Don't go, Jason Waterfalls" -singing out to their friend Mr Waterfalls who was trying to leave, despite the fact that they were actually singing "Don't go chasing waterfalls." People who were in the car when I learned the correct lyrics will still not let me live that one down. How do you all feel about written album reviews? Do you ever read them? Do you find they influence your listening decisions? Personally, I find that I read them less often in terms of purchasing/listening decisions in the way that I often read game or movie reviews and more as a form of entertainment in and of itself.

Hey Crossfaders! As far as I can tell this is only an urban legend that goes back to an IMDb post, but supposedly Tom Waits built an instrument called a "Dumpstele" (sounds like ukelele) out of an old dumpster and piano wire. Per imdb: He converted a 4 cubic yard metal box (intended as a debris dumpster) into a musical instrument called a "Strata Dumpster" (aka "Dumpstalele"). He cut a 2 foot hole into one side, and streched seven piano strings across it, fastening them with two welded bridges. The strings can be plucked, strummed or bowed. He describes the sound as "trainlike and huge, like trash day with a purpose." There's no other info on it, but I'd love one day to find out this was actually true.
