For this gigantic discussion, we cover everything in Final Fantasy VII Remake from Chapter 15 through the ending and endgame content and all that jazz. There's a lot to talk about, but we're not done yet. Next week we'll have a bonus episode where we talk about the remake through the full spoiler-filled lens of the original game. We'll have a post looking for your comments on fun/confusing nods to the original game and what you want from future installments on Monday, May 11th.

I am listening to the final episode now, just finished the remake last night, so I apologize if this was addressed and I missed it. (1) I'm blown away that some caught that the whispers were maintaining the original games plot (as that appears to be the general idea at least. (2) When I finished the game, I felt the dialogue, particularly Aerith's and clear plot changes such as Biggs' survival were indications that the writers are not going to feel beholden to the original any longer. I'm sure we will still get the world and characters ,but I wonder if this was their way of expressing they're willing to change the plot to tell the story that they want and that they think works. Just a thought I couldn't share before this episode went up!

I think rooting these answers within the Lore of the original game makes the game a lot deeper and satisfying. My answers are almost entirely sourced either in REMAKE or in OG.
