2020-02-10 02:21:18 +0000 UTCI think it's a mixture of Minnesotan accent and Ben Hanson being a crazy person. As a Minnesotan, when I first heard him say "crayon" it was a little strange, but it wasn't super far out of the ordinary. But I did know immediately that someone was going to comment about it. There's also the possibility that audio compression played a factor. A lot of accents are different in a recording than when you actually hear them in person
