Thank you for the heartbeat hint, I didn´t put that together either. That makes it so much more sad. Thank you for that reccomendation. I just looked "The Thick of it" up, and I would love to see Peter play this role. :)

I didn't notice when I first watched it that he records his dying wife's heartbeat, and that's what he's listening to on his earphones. And the way he speaks to the other woman's daughter is so sweet. Funnily enough when you were talking about how strange it was seeing him in another role I also thought of you seeing him play Malcolm Tucker in "The Thick of It"... definitely a contrast!!

2024-01-29 07:34:26 +0000 UTCYes the video is sad, but so well filmed. What a talented man Peter is. I would recommend you watching him in the thick of it, but if you do, beware there is a lot of swearing in it. Nevertheless he is brilliant in it.
