Marzanna is a separate demonic god from Kanaxai. Amelia is using illusion spells from Kanaxai's branch of magic to disguise herself, but that doesn't stop her using her other magic. Her disguise, Lia Liona, is a second-circle ice mage, and Marzanna is the demonic god of winter. If I've used Marzanna instead of Kanaxai to describe her disguise/illusion, then that's a mistake. Did I do that?

2025-10-03 19:01:00 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter; May I ask if Marzanna (which she keeps to first circle only) is meant to be Kanaxai? I thought the marzana ward was what she used to defend against the arcwhale not the disguise? Goes back to being marzana in a chapter or two.

The whole point of warning shots is that you get killed if you ignore them. Now the pirates know that the navy is reluctant to actually engage so will be bolder.
