Until I figure out the best solution, the reality is screen-readers alone will miss out details due to the image-based content. Alt-text will help with this but I'm not sure it'll be sufficient on all images, but we'll see. Thanks for reading!

Assuming you don't want disabled people to never read your work, you should add alt text to you images that summarizes the plot-relevant details within.

We the readers r going to have to know what type of vampires are in this world. Sun hurts? garlic hurt? pointy wood? mirrors? silver weapons? shapeshifting? to many questions
