And it's Amelia being Amelia, what is there not to like! ;) As for the characters guiding the scene, when I wrote fan fiction many years ago, I had a totally different character show up when a door was answered than I had planned. Actually had to pause writing to figure out what was going on.

2025-07-22 16:16:45 +0000 UTC"While Arin explained in great detail how magnesium fluoride anti-glare coating was applied to her audience, who were too polite to tell her they didn’t care to know how magnesium fluoride anti-glare coating was applied" - what a great sentence! :D It's indeed a mini-arc of sorts, but it's Amelia, so what did anybody expect, really ;) Seriously though, it feels like a slice-of-life mini arc which shows the characters in their daily life, which helps me immerse myself inside the world and the ship, learn more about them and make me actually care for them as individuals.
