Possible Change in Rewards Distribution
Added 2022-09-18 17:59:11 +0000 UTCEDIT: I won't make any sudden change, rest assured there! But still would like to know your opinion to keep it in mind for the long future. Currently though, I'm leaning more towards keeping the distribution as it always has been.
I'm considering changing the way I distribute Patreon rewards, to make it more "secure". It requires a one or two more steps though and I don't want to make it difficult to access so I want to have some opinions first.
I'm considering doing a Mega/Onedrive encrypted post per art and distribute the password through discord or DMs.
Or just sharing the art through discord. Maybe dome especial exceptions through DMs.
Please let me know if there's other methods, or if you don't like any at all. Every vote I'll take in account for the future months.

2022-09-19 08:16:21 +0000 UTCI understand why you would want to do it, but I'm not really for it. I'm also not sure that it would really make it any more secure. I think it would just be a mild annoyance to people who use your patreon. If it's for your ease of use, then I'm all for it, but I don't think it really will be more secure unless there's something I'm missing.

2022-09-18 21:59:24 +0000 UTCPersonally I do find it a lot easier to have it all done through Patreon and prefer it not change, but I understand the necessity to take precautions. Most other artists I’m subscribed to use mega and have had good success with it helping keep things secure. Don’t know enough about one-drive myself to say if it’s better or worse than mega in this regard. Regardless love the work you do and I support whatever decision you decide.
