Finally here, the September 2021 update!
Added 2021-09-25 19:23:08 +0000 UTCBit off a bit more than I could chew this month! So sorry for the delay, but these things may happen when you're the family's Mr. Fixit guy.
So, all-in, there's several miles of new and refreshed roadways for you to check out, and the center of the show is definitely a good 2+ miles of completely re-done and re-routed highway just past the cloverleaf I had been working on. This new highway has been painstakingly done to look as real as possible when it comes to the texturing. The texturing is multi-layer and done by hand to give the most realistic look to machine-leveled concrete highway slabs that have been recently poured.
Drifter fanatics will absolutely love the new highway, complete with a short tunnel and traffic in all lanes. AI is present in all places that have been re-done unless I've forgotten something.
Highways created in the July and August updates now have improved merging of traffic, this is traffic between lanes on the highway, not that of entering traffic, so beware of that as they may get over prior to or right at an exit depending on which way they merge. This is in effort to make things more realistic.
There's a new pair of dams at the end of the huge flood control canal - you can use these to find the new highway as the highway has a 1/4th mile bridge over the lake. You can also quite readily launch vehicles off the lower one, too, from either direction.
There's a ton of hidden jumps, some really huge ones, so if it seems like there's a large area to gather speed there's usually some form of serious car launching at the other end.
There's a new building or two over in the city where I was working the last time, but not too much. I put a few jumps at the end of the roadway where one of the parking garages is, just for fun, so please don't think those will stay there. Enjoy them while they last unless I integrate that functionality into a fountain somewhere out front - hey that's a good idea!
Stop light low detail bug fixed, stop sign bug fixed, please make sure these look fixed on your end, too. Clear Cache before checking, otherwise it won't fix.
Well anyways, I hope you enjoy this. Same file size as last time.

Runs the same as always. PLEASE CLEAR CACHE! This way it should fix model-related bugs or differences.
Give a shout on the beamng site if there's any issues, as I don't always check up on here as often. Thank-you and enjoy the beta!

On a side note: I am trying to import (for lack of a better word) a DAE file from one map into another map. I was thinking I could just put the DAE into the 0.23\levels\nameoflevel\art\shapes\misc folder and browse with the asset broswer, but it never shows up. Do I have to unzip the mapname file to the 0.23\levels folder and put it in there for the asset browser to see it? I hope this makes sense.

2021-10-01 19:02:31 +0000 UTCThese are awesome! Unfortunately, I can only download these from work (and when I remember a flash drive - doh) due to my slow internet speed at the house. :-(
