Los Injurus Public Release awaiting MOD-DB authorization

While Release Candidate 3 awaits authorization, I'd like to mention that all reported bugs are fixed, more details have been added (the Line City lot not far from the island base / island airport is finished up, detailed are added, roads and AI improved).

Los Injurus DEC 2024 RC2

This fixes all known bugs, especially the double yellow line bug which was a game conflict.

Lots (hundreds) less console errors, too.

Lots of texture pathing fixed, in-fact, I spent hours and hours parsing over 40,000 lines of scripting on the texture indices to fix them by hand, one by one.

Also fixed a bunch of other bugs, missing texture layers, improperly named files, and so-forth and so-on.

Los Injurus DEC 2024 Update

This is the release candidate for December 2024.

LOTS of stuff has been updated over in the corner of the level past the abandoned mall. Basically, if you started at CrashBoomPunk's spawn point and turns around you'd be all over it. Free-cam if you need to, but also know there's new spawn points. There's a FULL PAGE OF SPAWN POINTS now!

Stayed up late to post this in-stead of pushing until tomorrow.

All reported bugs (?) should be fixed.

LOTS of AI changes all over, especially when/where it was broken.

August 2024 Los Injurus update

Finally it's here!

After much work, and a lot of effort, the outer-loop highway is completely redone now. Some 4.5~5 miles or so of highway is completely redone and a mile of new highway has been added. This should make your experience running the outer-loop rather seamless now. Bug-fix update / public release preview

Bug-fix update, completes many loose ends and adds spawn points for new shore-side town that's getting started.

Lots and lots of fixes.  I mean LOTS of them.

Updated/improved some level-loading graphics and made new ones for new spawn points.

Some temp stuffs deleted (some remains of-course), and things generally cleaned up a bit.

Finally! An update...Hooray!

First, this has taken far too long; how time flies, and so-forth.

While the AI is rough, there may be some WIP elements and the like, there's over FIVE miles of completely refurbished roadway (mostly highway) out there to enjoy.

Many texture bugs were fixed, so DO let me know if there's still textures that do not work.

There's also many miles of surface road that are completely 100% new - mostly in the rural area of the map, out of the city past the new-ish DAM area.

FIXED WORKING UPDATE! Don't need to extract!

This should work like it's supposed to.

Only difference from last week (9 or 10 days ago) is that I used DEFLATE and not DEFLATE64 as I had misunderstood that the 64-bit version was supported or not (it's not).

You won't have to extract this.

If you extracted and got the last week's update to run already, you DO NOT need this.  It's only differing in the compression method, the map is 100% the same.

1st 2023 Los Injurus update!

1st update using the new MAP SLIMMER tool!  Thanks for that AlexKidd71 via BeamNG forums.  Comes in super handy and only involved a little over an hour of work.

First things first, this should fix any and all texture bugs.  It might even run with less VRAM (it's possible) than the old one.  Keep me posted on this is you choose to use high detail as to how much VRAM is used.

EXTRACT the map to use it! More info included

The game has a limitation of 4gb on mod file sizes due to 32-bit file loading / handling code.  I have made the devs aware of this fact recently.

This following picture is where you can drop the contents of the ZIP file to make it work when you extract it.

You can now enjoy the 11-foot-8 bridge, in all of it's fully working glory, in BeamNG Drive.

The 11 foot 8 arrives very soon

I am pleased to announce that the Durham NC 11-foot-8 bridge is coming to BeamNG Drive, however, this is not without some issues due to the new game versions.

August update re-upload (slimmed)

Slimmed down just slightly, and re-packaged.

Work-around for being unable to load

Well evidently the game has an issue with the 4.12gb file.

Please unpack the mod via the menu, or extract it your beamng drive user folder (you can open the zip, and drop the LEVELS folder right into the beamng.drive user folder).

the correct path will be ...\beamng.drive\levels\tsh (in tsh folder you should see cali.ter file, if you do, it's correct).

I am in the process of creating a more permanent solution.

Los Injurus June 2021 Version update

This update fixes up several miles of roadway, adds in two new restaurants, a dam with a somewhat realistic over-flow spillway, some more culverts, and finally a fix to the one coverleaf interchange that has remained a mess for most of the beta period.

New May version of Los Injurus city map project

More work is done where I'd been working at the highway interchange including more retail and homes.  There's a ton of new culverts you can drive right through, in the typical box-culvert designs we're used to seeing.  Have fun exploring them, there's quite a number of them around.  I hope folks appreciate the extra work in engineering all this stuff.

Yet Another Update

This version is verified to work with game version 0.20, 0.21, and 0.22.

3.7 new miles of completely re-done highway, which should be much more interesting and great for high speed drifts.

One of the new interchanges has some development nearby.

A few miles of surface road were changed here and vastly improved.

A new airport runway and tarmac arrangement greets pilots at the top of our list of new features this time around.

Not much new content in the way of new buildings, however, there's a TON of graphic updates.

Canal textures look better now, along with improvements to the following:

Parking lots, road surfaces, some driveways

Curbing, Jersey Barriers, sidewalks and the like

Retaining walls and dock faces (dock faces aren't final but keystone block retaining walls are good)

First off - Sorry this took so long.

The computer blew up, and my internet barely works.  I'll click on things and blank pages come up.  I fixed it, but the machine was down for the greater part of two weeks.

New things:

Both new tunnels now have AI.  Please keep in mind that while it does work and the AI can easily travel end to end, some large vehicles including the bus, the large commercial trucks (t-series), and occasionally the Burnside may get glitched into the guide rails inside the tunnel.  The tunnel will be widened about a meter on each direction in the near future, so bare with me for now please.
