New Sidewalks-Only kit, for using the terrain as your driving surface, but still getting all that custom sidewalk goodness. Full assortment of bends and slope adjustment pieces.
A large new 8 and 10-lane road (it varies in capacity) with Jug-handle intersections has been built. It is not yet complete, but the first few blocks are pretty good. This (from the spawn point) is one exit past the new police department from 2~3 months ago. This road has full AI support on all lanes. Most turns (especially left turns) are prohibited, and are normally done from the Jug-handle. There's no traffic lights on this road yet, but I have a lot of those to install yet, those are coming. This road is going to be one of the main commercial corridors dating originally from the 1940's~1970's with several big-box stores and LOTS of strip mall stores. It might even have a still-functioning mall, too, at one point. The top end of this route is much less finished than the lower end of it, but it connects good enough for now.
The spawn point has been improved a little, and a jump added near the Burger World at the dead-end alley.
Two new gas stations sourced from the improved ECA models have been added in the city.
A few jumps have been added, maybe you can find them.
Added a tunnel and a mile or so of road linking the high-end of the road you spawn at (that goes under the highway), to the industrial area (if solely because it was a rather enduring drive).
There's a new industrial-looking old warehouse / factory looking building. It's almost too clean and nice looking for an industrial area - it could even be a school for what it's worth.
There's also the beginnings of a flood control canal in the industrial area. This will expand later.
The map now has FOUR Burger World restaurants, because fried kitchen rat is great.
Fixed a few no-texture issues on the gas station and one of the buildings up the road from the spawn point. Also fixed a missing store that's been missing for the greater part of 2019. Oops. There's still a missing 13-floor white office tower by the spawn, I will get to that sooner or later.
Fixed cars stuck in the ground when spawning by the police department interchange ramps, and also near the spawn point, and in a few other places where I noticed these issues. There is likely still more someone, but they will be fixed as I am made ware of them.
Go ahead and spawn in, to check it out. I hope you like the new road kit, as it really keeps the immersion up with all the different road texturing / looks. Like in real life, no two roads generally look the same here with the new kit (the old ones are still there, though), so this kit helps any mapper (not just me) make the exact type of road / lane configuration & look that you desire.
There will be a public beta starting in 'About two weeks' or so. I will be release a free public version every 3~4 months or otherwise as large chunks of the city done, on the BeamNG forums due to demand. I will still keep putting subscriber updates on here every 2~3 weeks or so for the foreseeable future, so you don't have to run just yet.
